Winterfall Ritual Totem

Take the Winterfall Ritual Totem inside Timbermaw Hold and see if one of the furbolgs there will find a use for the item. The Timbermaw will not speak with you unless you are of Neutral reputation or greater with them.

Description

You have found one of the Winterfall furbolg's ritual totems. The totem itself is of non-descript construction, but it seems to emanate an almost tangible sense of dread and despair. If many of the Winterfall furbolgs do indeed carry these, it certainly would go a long way in explaining their current condition.

One of the furbolgs inside Timbermaw Hold may have a use for such an item... that is, if you've earned their trust enough for them to speak with you.

When ppl join up for grinding reputation, youre rep will go skyrocketing, so instead of soloing those dudes, team up, it really works, u still get 5 rep for each kill,so next time you do this, remember :)

I got a totem in Winterspring. I am currently Friendly w/the Timbermaws yet none of the furbolgs inside the hold will talk to me. Does anyone know who you have to talk to to complete this on or is it bugged? Thanks.

Quest gives 150 rep and as someone mentioned above 3*Major Mana and 3*Major Healing pots.

When you go by foot from felwood to winterspring through the tunnel, in the lower part you can deliver your q.

I was hoping for this to be repeatable. However I have yet to receive another totem after i turned in the first one. Therefore I'd safely assume that this is not repeatable. It'd be better to hold on to this totem till you are Revered with this faction (if you are going for the Exalted trinket that is), and turn it in then.

i've spent a few hours today up and down the cave.

i guess it could be killed by people going through the cave system. anybody have an idea on spawn rate?

(I am *assuming* btw that I just have to hold the cursor and look for a "talk" bubble on any NPC.)

There is another totem called "Deadwood Ritual Totem" that starts another Quest. Also increases reputation. It may be looted from Deadwood Furbolgs in their camp near the other entrance to Timbermaw Cave.

pinoyshadow, if you are hated by these guys, then start collecting a ton more beads and feathers, and kill more mobs to build rep again. Nothing else you can do.

You can DEFINITELY do at neutral.I had 50 rep into neutral,turned in both totem quests to kernda.Altogether,got 300 rep(150 each) with timbermaw,nearly 10G,and 5 major healing and 5 major mana potions.

5600xp and 350 rep at lvl61. Definitely worth it.

EDIT: Upon further reading, I'm guessing the monetary prize is random? In total I got maybe 2 gold for turning in this and Deadwood Ritual Totem quests together. But others have received 5g for one quest alone? Does the monetary prize go down the higher lvl you are?

How are we supposed to get to neutral in a decent amount of time? I started out with them below hostile and got up to unfriendly but it's another 3000 standing to get neutral...any faster way than the repeatble bead mission?

The MOB is Kernda usually found patrolling around 75,2 inside timbermaw hold. Near the fork in the tunnell

You also need to make sure you are neutral with the Timbermaw, I was unfriendly and they won't attack you and the tooltip says "neutral" but you can't hand the quest in until your rep is neutral or higher.
