Description

The oases of the Barrens hide a mystery. Life energy flows from their waters, invigorating the plants and beasts that drink it.

Invigorating, and altering.

There is a mushroom that grows near these oases. Its spores hold properties that we, the apothecaries of Lordaeron, find useful.

45,22 is correct they are growing at the shore of the forgotten pool, just where land and water meet.

I honestly found it easier to find fungal spores around the lake near Walling Caverns (classic wow). I suggest if you are on this quest to try look here.

They're big fat white mushrooms and you can't miss them. Unfortunately they seem to be sparse and don't spawn very fast. Try taking a few steps away from the water's edge and see if you can find any.

Yes, 45.22 is correct, I went to the Pool. As soon as you get there you see massive mushrooms. You cannot miss them ^^

the mushrooms are at 45,22 next to the shore of the water.&nbsp i found like 5 of them along the north side of the pool. there are also some at the Lushwater Oasis to the southwest of the crossroads, just look next to that pool as well for some.

When I took the spores to Thunder Bluff, they took the spores but did not credit for the quest, I cannot get the quest to obtain spores again.&nbsp Anyone have suggestions

Its easier if you've done the quest for the Forgotten Pools. Just go back, dodging the centaurs, and pick the herbs.. simple.

For Stagnant and Lushwater Oasis you need to be around level 14/15 or higher. At level 12 (hunter) i went to the Forgotten Pools (NW of XR), only had to kill 1 mob to get into the water (the only oasis without Snapjaw mobs in the water).

For you herbalists out there, these oasis' have an abundance of herbs to harvest, mostly silverleaf, but also some rare ones. Just make sure to have your find herbs on.

The spores are normally found near the water which is handy because there aren't that many beasts to avoide there. I found more in the Lushwater Oasis, most likey because it's bigger. It's located directly south-west of the Crossroads and just south of Wailing Cavern.

Make sure to leave the Crossroads via the Western Road. Then make your way NW.

I timed my last two mushroom spawns, 5:45 & 7:54. Maybe its a random spawn time between 5 and 10 minutes?

The mushrooms are impossible to miss. If you don't see them it just means they haven't respawned yet. I'm camping a mushroom spawn point in the Forgotten Pools. Someone is standing at each spot around the water waiting. I've been at my spot for 20 mins and I've only gotten two so far. It's not something you run in and collect in a few seconds. Be prepared to wait or try logging in late at night.
