Weapon speed and instant attacks are indirectly related- the slower the weapon, the higher the damage range. Slower weapons will always be better for instant attacks unless there is a large dps difference between the two weapons being compared.

This quest is from AQ40, and requires the Qiraji Armaments, which is about a 5% drop off the bosses past the first boss.&nbsp 5% is not a lot, so they're pretty rare.

Once you get the armaments, if you can get past the 5th? boss (twin emperors), you can get to the NPC that gives the quest.

Elementium Ore is from Blackwing Lair, off the lab packs (technicians).&nbsp But if you can get the armaments and past twin emps, you probably have lots of this stuff lying around.

So, in other words, only the advanced guilds (at least until BC comes out in a few days) will have access to any of this.

The quest is received in AQ40.&nbsp It's actually right next to the room where C'Thun is located.&nbsp Go past the doorway to enter his room, hug the left wall so you don't aggro, and you will see three npc's surrounded by blue force fields.&nbsp One of the NPCs has the quest.

You can do it again and it may say you can do it again but when you try to turn it in it will tell you something about they have what they need already. Kinda dumb.

ive seen 1 with that sheild but shes main tank for the best guild on the serwer (ragnaros)

While the gun is nice, any hunter able to get this quest has already quested the Rhok bow.&nbsp If you've got the bow, or BWL x-bow, the dagger is a better choice for PvE and PvP.

p.s. I know some Dorf hunters that will not use a bow, and in their case, clearly this gun is the best choice for them.

You unlock AQ by the war effort. If the war effort hasnt started on your realm, you have to wait until Blizz sees fit to release it to you. After you finish the war effort, elite spawns spawn in the barrens and some other places. When you kill them they drop multiple blues and smoe gold. GRIND TIME BABY! :P&nbsp GL on your hunting.

is this quest repeatable? can someone get 2 of the quest items from the armaments quest? ie shield + dagger?

Does anyone know if this requires rep to compleate?

i cant see anywhere on this quest wether you need exalted or honoured with any faction to do it can anyone shed some light on this?

ive been 60 for a while and i jsut got felstriker and i was wondering if this dagger would go good wiht it. and is the quest easy to get and easy to finish?..ist his part of the 20 man or 40 man raid

sure hope so axe and shield together :P and ofcourse the gun and dagger are great to. hopefully you dont have to choose between 1 of those... there all so good.

The shield is awesome,It is better than the chrom one
You have to return the shield after the twin emperors. It will take long time until most guilds take him down.He is uber hard

You have to choose one of the items, however, it seems like there's a pretty good chance for it to be repeatable.

Dualwielding the war axe atm

I just hitched a ride with another guild to pick up my Pugio. Current rep is ~22000/36000 hated and I *was* able to get my dagger.

Why the hell would you say not to waste the dagger on a rogue, daggers are mainly rogue items, and sometimes fury wars.

Note to Hunters: Just in case the quest isn't repeatable (and I'm not sure, I haven't done it yet), the gun has the highest DPS of any ranged weapon currently in the game.

*sigh* Time to get my gun skill back up... I knew I shouldn't have left it at 135...

Ah, AQ just came out this week. We've gone as far as Princess Huhuran so far, so I guess we have to wait till we down her and the Emperors. Although I already have the ore.

Question is, what would you all recommend for a Hunter to get? I'm currently dual wielding the Twin Blades of the Hakkari. Perhaps at most, if I dual wield the Blessed Qiraji Pugio with my CHT, it's a difference of:

-30 AP, +1% crit, +1% hit, +16 STA

or dual-wield the hakkari main hand and Pugio:

-22 AP, +1% crit, +1% hit, +7 STA, which seems like the more viable combination somehow.

Although, I currently have +6% hit with gear as it is, not counting my sure-footed talent of +3%. So +hit doesn't seem to be anything to me. I wonder if I should just get the axe for 4 less AP but +10 int.

Axe + Hakkari mainhand:

-26 AP, +1% crit, +9 sta, +10 int.

If I do get the gun, even after normalization, it doesn't seem to give a huge DPS advantage over the Rhok'delar in PVE, and will give slightly lower damage output in PVP in terms of Aimed/Multi.

Any thoughts?

(Of course I could just wait for the Huhuran Stinger, which is the best option for my build, however, I'm one of the lowest dkp hunters, so getting my hands on that will take a while)

Yay for healerdins getting a pineapple inserted rectally. Two staves, an axe I wouldn't touch even if my hammer was broken, some gun (yay for paladins being the ONLY class in the game that has no ability or spell to pull from a distance), a dager we cannot use (the only class unable to weild small knives, mind you), a druid-hammer and some shield I'd never give three elementium for (I'm no tank :D they WILL drool over that)

So we pallies will stick to the other two shields we get from endgame.... RDSP and Malistars :/
