This quest is given to you by one of the three NPCs in the last chamber before C'Thun in the Ahn'Qiraj Temple.

The quest is repeatable.

The quest is repeatable. Can pick up both staves if your guild has that much ore to spare and you have a second regalia.

In my opinion, this is the "best" PvE mace for feral druids, as it has 304 dps points and even some adds to help you in bear form. The best pvp mace, on the other hand, would be "The End of Dreams", as it has 305 dps points (all from +ap in cat/bear form) and a lot of pluss on the healing part as well.

If I was aiming on either PvE or PvP, I would choose The end of Dreams for both, as you often have to heal your party members in a group when the main healer needs help. This concludes to druids being a character adapting to different situations. Otherwise you could just go as a rogue.

But of cours, if you can manage to get "Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian" (druid version of cours), there is no question about what's the best. This staff has an incredible 420 dps points (also all from the +ap in cat/bear form) and amazing healing adds as well. Great stamina too. Kind off hard to get, though. :)

Ok - these choices are awesome for the different specs of druid. One dmg staff for moonkin/balance spec'd. One for restoration spec. And one for feral spec. Personally if I am looking for a tanking weapon in bear form - the Warden Staff provides 3x the armor and +2 more defense at only the cost of 2 stamina. The only loss is the Attack power which while nice - isn't the most important thing for tanking druids. As far as attack power in kitty form - it is the best weapon I have seen yet.

The restoration staff is awesome - huge healing, lots of hitpoints and mana and mana regeneration. I haven't seen another resto staff better than that yet.

The Caster staff is great for hit chance, crit chance and increased damage with even more hitpoints and mana.

All around - I would want all three forms for my druid depending which role I play. Problem is in getting the mats - last I saw elementium was going for 600g a pop in AH.

Any type of druid would benefit from this quest. The only problem is getting the drop, then getting through all of AQ40 to cash it...

Is it possible if you have the quest items to join a raid group that has just killed the Twin Emps and turn in the items needed to the quest giver? Or do you have to be present for the twin emps kill?&nbsp

the reason u probably saw a warrior with the mace is cuz he had the most dkp. if he's willing to pay the points let him have it. i know one warrior in our guild that wants this over pretty much every other tanking weapon save thunderfury and the new stuff from naxx.

on another side note (proving again you don't know what you're talking about) benediction is NOT > everything else. benediction is better than just about anything in MC and BWL. but thats it..the stuff from AQ40 and the new things from naxx easily outclass benediction. scepter of the false prophet, the healing staff from this quest, and the 3 maces from naxx to name a few. all of them >>>>>> benediction. l2research before you post stupid comments.

my guild is only just downed sartura, but do you think this is stealth-able? or is the npc like surrounded by mobs... may sound like a noob question but i haven't seen the mobs/terrain that far ahead yet

ok, here's how it is (just got the healing stuff today ^^).
NPC's that qive the quest are in a room next to C'thun. So in order to get there you have to kill Twin Emps and all trash between them and C'thun.

I, as a priest, can see both quests for melee and casters weapon. The quests are repeatable. After I turned it in, I could accept the same quest again.

Speaking of rep, probably you only need Neutral just to talk to NPC's. You'll be a lot higher than that by the time you get to Emps though. I myself am Revered atm.

Couple of our rogues with MOD tried to stealth in, but didn't make it (although they didn't have cloak enchant). So I'm not sure if it's possible.

Good luck to all those of you, who got the regalia and waiting to turn it in )

The mace is real good. It's designed for Droods but with that much dps ((60)) it would be real good for a Rogue too. Not that I'd take the Regalia from a Druid aiming for it, but still...pretty damn nice.

Okay, that is the hawtest of hawt staves for a resto druid, but that mace would make me respec my innervate druid feral in a heartbeat. IT'S A ONE-HANDER FOLKS, and it crushes most two-handed maces in the game. Absolutely the most unbelievably hawt feral mace.

But still it would be SO nice to have both. Can you imagine, with the +55 hlg enchant on that staff, having +198 hlg off your STAFF alone?

Sickness.... The guy who designed these is one low-down dirty MFer. WTG Blizz. Now if I only live to see it...

Ok, I just completed the quest, stealthing is not possible... after you kill the emps there is a ton of trash mobs you have to kill. The room where you get the staff is just past C'thun.

You need no rep what so ever, I got this item at hated. it is a quest, just make sure you have your elementium ore on you.

Hope this clears up any confusion

Reading these posts below making me sick. I barely believe, that the most poster are in aq40 slaughtering bosses, i mean the ones, who talk of this item being best tanking weapon ingame.

to be honest, this looks like a quest, where these rewards only are shown to druids.
If you make it with someone else, you get other rewards (maybe the staves are the same).
If you really need an imba tanking weapon, take the Windseeker, the 20% attackspeed reduction is better than this stuff. You will never ever gain a better tankbonus than 20% attackspeed reduction. 20% less speed = 20% less damage, you can never ever compensate that with a hammer with 6 def, 70 armor, 12 stam, 12 str. Especially when you begin to raid aq40, you are mostly t2 equipped
