I'm looking for battle hardened adventurers willing and able to get a fresh husk sample from the fallen Colossus of Ashi to Oglethorpe in Booty Bay. No, no, I wouldn't want you to go anywhere near that thing's corpse. Just take one of my samples and make it snappy. These things are no good to him rotten!

Well we killed Ashi one on our opening event. After try some dif tactics. Someone said we should try and Kite it to CH and see if the NPC's would attack it. took some time to get the kitting right but we got it :-) and he got ownd

This quest, and the other 2 quests like this, can only be done on two conditions. One, that the colossus is killed. Two, that you grab the quest and complete it within the 10 hour gate event.

Quest giver shows up in Cenarian Hold once one of the big boys is taken down. Once the 10 hour event is over, any Colossuses (Colossi?) left simply vanish, as does the quest giver. It is in your interest to do this as soon as possible rather than waiting to do it later.

You get this quest from an NPC after you take down the Colossi during the 10 hour AQ event.

This quest is only available during the AQ war when the colossus is dead. Anyone can get the quest from Cenarion Hold (you do not need to participate in a raid that kills the collosus).

Don't know how long this quest stays up but once the war is over it's gone. One time deal.

People may be very discuraged when fighting this boss and his 2 brothers since they use a very powerful attack.
However they are actually as easy to kill as a Molten Core boss with the right tactic.
1. The AoE attack is affected by line of sight.
2. The attack takes 4s to cast and during that time the boss will not move.
Im sure people can figure out the rest =).
I very much Recommend guilds to kill those bosses as they can drop very rare drops as Teebu's Blazing Longsword (we got it) and arent very hard to kill at all.
