Description

Don Julio's Bonescythe armor pattern requires bone fragments - a lot of bone fragments. While those crazy enough to venture into Naxxramas provide me with enough of the core materials to make the armor, I'm always looking for more Scourge bone fragments.

So what do you think? Interested in getting your hands dirty and destroying some Scourge at the same time? It's a win-win situation.

Bone Fragments are used for a quest in EPL called "Bonescythe Digs". After you collected 30 Bone Fragments you turn them in for a Insignia of the Crusade.

The Bone Fragments drops off Undeads in Scholomance, Stratholme and all over WPL/EPL.

The quest itself requires Friendly reputation with Argent Dawn to get.

These drop of SKELETON type undead only - Not off spectres/horrors/flayers and the like.

A good place to farm for them is Andoral in WPL, since there is a large number of lower lvl skeletons there, which respawn quite quickly.

Oh, and the semi bosses (55-56 elite) that appear inside the towers in Andoral will drop 2-3 bone fragments each.

I am yet to find out if this quest is repeatable...

... but will know soon.

You must be FRIENDLY with Argent Dawn to get this quest.

It drops off skeleton mobs level 50+. Felstone field in wester plaguelands is a great place to farm them.

You have to be Lvl 55+ to hand in the bone frags,core of elements, etc...

okay, so there seems to be some confusion and debate over the requirements for this quest. it SAYS 60, but thats not possible, somone mentioned earlier that the got them at 57 and thought that was the minimum.&nbsp I got friendly at 55 and was able to get this quest, and the savage frond/dark iron scraps/crypt fiend parts/elements ones. this would lead to the conclussion that the only requirement is friendly with AD, no matter the level.

honestly though, none of it is worth it for me (hunter).&nbsp most of the gear you get, arent worth the huge amount of time and boredom (except maybe for priest/mages).&nbsp the nice part though is that these things sell for 30s-50s each on the AH, and if you wait and sell them in big stacks you can get big gold for them.&nbsp do what im doing: save them up while you're grinding, and if you stay in feralas/ungoro/plaguelands/burning steppes you'll have enough to get you half way to fast mount by the time you're 60.

You get bone fragments from skeletal undead such as Dark Casters and Scourge Warders.

You can find them from the undead guys in Sorrow Hill.

About 1/2 drop rate.

after grinding the sceletals in WPL to get to frriendly i had over 150 of these, so it's deffinately the best way to get the insignias.
then trips to BRD netted the dark iron scraps now all i need is higher rep to make the epix cheeper wrt insignias needed and i'm off, this and the dark iron scraps are deffo the easyest and cheepest way of doing the epix armor quests.

Since I saw this quest here on Anonymous and noticed I had well over 30 bone fragments anyway, I head over to visit this Assassin.&nbsp However, when I speak to him we will not give up his quest.&nbsp He just says things like "This title is misleading, I'm a really nice guy once you get to know me."&nbsp Arg, then give me your quest!&nbsp Take my bones and give me the reward!

So, what are the requirements to receive this quest.&nbsp I want to cash in on my bones :)

I was able to get over to the chapel at lvl 51 ( died looking for it and get rezed in the graveyard there, nice bonus) at the time i did not have a friendly rep with AD yet and there were no quest givers with ANY visable "!" except the repeatable scourgestone NPC.&nbsp I later came back after hitting friendly at lvl 54 and there were a TON of NPCs with "!" now but they were all grey.&nbsp I had over 60 Bone Fragments with me but the turn in NPC, Rohan the assasin, would not give the quest, so there must be a lvl requirement.&nbsp Please post otherwise if you have been able to turn in the fragments and you are below 60.&nbsp You also should be getting 200+ rep with AD the first time you do this.

i farm like 200 [Bone Fragments] on 3h&nbsp im a lvl 55 mage, i kill like 7 to 10 mobs at one time . only AOE ice barrier , and a little more
