Description

Nothing would please me more than to make you some Redridge Goulash. But there's a slight problem. During the recent orc uprising I fed the entire brigade of Stormwind troops. My cupboard is now bare. But if you can provide me with the ingredients, I'd be happy to oblige.

Just bring me five pieces of Tough Condor Meat, five Great Goretusk Snouts and five helpings of Crisp Spider Meat.

I think I've done this quest 3-4 times between different characters. The hardest part was always the condor meat. This last time I figured out an easier way.

For some reason the condors on south part of the lake don't drop the meat nearly as often as the ones north east of town. The area I am talking about is the area over looking the wood mill where all the spiders are. There are usually only 2-3 at the most up there, and they don't respawn quickly.

While doing the quest, I would kill the condors in this area, get 1 or 2 meats. Then go pick up a few snouts from west of the lake, near the gaveyard. Then come back when the condors are respawned.

Althers Mill is a good place. Here you can find a lot of condors and spiders. Oh im Warrior i did this quest at level 19 easy.

Yes, this quest will make you poke your eyes out. The Tough Condor Meat drop rate seems *rediculously* low.. I've killed about 20-25 and still have not gotten one. >.<

Level 21 Dwarf Preist kill over 40 condors not a single drop of the meat... at the place where there is a lot of spider and the logging shed is.

Switch to my alt, a level 25 Human Preist... decide to give up on the above location and try the southern road... got 5 condor meat after killing about 15 condors..

There is a conspiracy against Dwarf.....

The best place I found to get this stuff all in one place is Alther's Mill.&nbsp Lots of Condors and Spiders, and the occasional Goretusk.&nbsp But no one cares about the lack of Goretusks since you can find those guys in abudance near the flight path.&nbsp

I didn't think this quest was too hard.

Spiders: 12,76
Boars: 16,49 (Low levels and Squishy's beware: Bellygrub <lvl24> is in this area.&nbsp Was able to kill as lvl20 druid)
Condors: 55,76 Yes, the drop rate is poor, but there are lots of these things here and to the east, and they aren't too hard to kill.&nbsp

im not really gonna do these collection quests anymore unless the reward is worth it

I've killed 1/2 dozen condors and gotten 1 piece of meat.&nbsp I'm an '18' and kinda stuck.&nbsp I can't go above the mill because the creatures up there kill me like i'm standing still.&nbsp Little trolls down below are having a field day killing me too.&nbsp I can kill the dragon welps pretty quickly but it drains a lot of my health and doesn't leave much left for me to kill the condors.&nbsp I don't think I'm ever going to finish this quest.&nbsp Grrrrrrr.......

You can also get these drops from the critters around Sentinel Hill in Westall.&nbsp I just took the quest and while doing the Westfall quests, was able to pick up most of the items without trying.&nbsp The Condor Meat is definitely a pain to get though.

I was getting a CRAP drop rate for the great goretusk snouts and I went to the western part of Westfall (right around Moonbrook). Even if the drop rate isn't as good for ya, its easier cause you don't have to sift throught the pesky whelps, spiders, and buzzards. Just open plains and goretusk snouts.

I was just in Redridge looking for this quest. I can't find a Chef Breanna. I found the Innkeeper Breanna. Anyone know where the Chef is? I did this one before and found her right away. I wonder if they nerfed the quest?

Terriable drop rate for these Condor Meats ..
Had some good luck with the bunch near 60, 75. I got 3/4 drops/kills ratio.
other 2 took me a good half hour to get though.. seems like a slow spawn rate as well

ok why is it I get the crap drop rate on the condors and my hubby gets 5 within 8 kills? I've killed at least 30 o them and got 2 outta 5 .... all the other stuff aint too bad, but these condors are a pain. Tried all locations for em to.

The place I found the condors that drop their meat is actually South east of Lakeshire at Redridge, south of the lake.

The animals are called "dire condors".

Bring patience. Most of the animals have already had all the meat taken out of their bodies by other adventurers, and I counted a total of 88 kills before all ingredients were gathered.

The lone condor next to the Knoll camp (24,36) dropped all of the meat for me, the others didn't drop a single one! Still took a long freaking time to gather them all, maybe 1 in 15 kills dropped the meat. Can anyone confirm if this particular condor has a higher drop rate?
