Investigate the Scourge of Ironforge

Collect three Dim Necrotic Stones from the Scourge outside Ironforge and investigate the glowing runic circles nearby their encampment.

Description

The Lich King has sent his undead upon our very doorstep; we cannot remain idle! Surely you will step up to defend Ironforge from these accursed invaders?

There are strange runic circles outside, glowing with the same energy that surrounds the undead and the Necropolis above. They have significance, I'm certain, and I want you to find out what. Thin the numbers of those aberrations while you're at it; bring me proof of their death along with your results, and I will reward you. Go!

reward is 2s 50c and 625 exp (for level 15), no reputation rewards.
i found this quest outside of gates of Ironforge, right side. questgiver is Lieutenant Nevel, Argent Dawn faction.
the circles is right down from questgiver, you must step to circle for investigate, and kill mobs around for stones.

Circles Can be found @ 50,39 and 49,40 in Dun Morogh.

The Dim Necrotic Stones can be found on the Skeletal Troopers and Spectral Spirits surrounding the circles.

You get the quest at the top of the road near the gate to IF.&nbsp The quest is near the bottom of the hill, on the right side going down.&nbsp Look over the edge of the road, you can't miss it.

What are the next quests re the Argent Dawn?

ARGH..... This is driving me crazy!

"The good thing is that the place is very easy to find"

I´ve spend almost an hour finding the place with your directions (no coordinates) And I just cannot.

I somehow have compledet finding the circle, but find no monsters or stones.

Please help?

48,39 are the correct coords for their camp

Albinster's description is right on .. just do what he said go to the right of the path when you get to the bottom .. and yeah the drop rate sucks ..I'm doing this with my level 9 dwarf priestess killed about 5 of them and only 1 drop .. I'm waiting right now for them to repop cos a druid came thru and killed all of them quicker than i can.

Lieutenant Nevell of the Argent Dawn is right outside the entrance to Iron Forge .. He gives the quest and is also the person you turn it in to. He is located at 52,35.

Is just finnished the mission, but unfortunately I don't have coordinates.

The good thing is that the place is very easy to find.

Just go down the path from Ironforge, and after the bend to the right, the place with the circles and the undead "camp" is on the right hand side of the path.

The droprate on "Dim Necrotic Stone" is not very high, so it might take a little while to get a hold of all the stones.

I did it as a Gnome Warlock level 8.
I gained 625 XP and 2 silver, 50 copper.
