Description

I'll let you in on a little secret - Dusky "Crab" Cakes are really made from spider legs! I know it's a bit disgusting, but the cakes have a nice, tangy flavor and make great snacks! Bring me Gooey Spider Legs and I'll whip you up a few of them.

I hear Venom Web Spiders are a good source - they nest to the north, between the foothills and the river.

The chance of drop is about 36% on all spider mobs In Duskwood, the quest is best stacked with the quests "Eight-Legged Menaces" (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=245) and "The Totem of Infliction" (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=101)

The spiders for the quest are most heavily found around the north of Darkshire, by the river or to the very west.

Found the Black Widow Hatchlings Lvl 24 Dropped them almost every second one they are at

I got a higher drop rate from the green recluse spiders up there than the venom web spiders... just a hint...

Found the gooey spider legs at 83,53, with the bonus of doing the totem of infliction quest. I'm a mage level 24 and did them both solo.

I found the drop rate was dismal, but had the best luck farming them out of Black Widdow Hatchlings around the Cemetary.

There are a lot of Black Widow Hatchlings around 32, 41 as well as along a large portion of the west side of the mountains. These are where i had the most luck and i didnt get a single one from the green recluse, the pygmy or regular venom spiders.

I had a very good drop rate.Black Widow Hatchlings were the most successful, i accidently sold my Gooey Spider Legs after completing it by killing other spiders. Go to 30,50 and the surrounding area will be COVERED in these spiders. I got 5 in 5 kills and the other 2 in 3 more kills. Overall 6/8, i suggest these spiders to those who want to finish it quickly ;-D

That's ~86,51 ... I didn't have to move much from that spot to harvest all 6 needed for the Dusky Crab Cakes quest.&nbsp I'm a lazy lvl 28 Mage.&nbsp YMMV.

For the Dusky Crab Cakes the best drop for me was the Black Widow Hatchlings, in Duskwood 36,34

For me, I found some gooey spider legs by killing the Pygmy Venom Web and Venom Web Spider's which can be found all along the Darkened Bank (its the shoreline at the top of your map). From these spiders you can also complete the Eight-Legged Menaces, and part of the Totem Of Affliction quests (vials of spider venom). For those of you who are looking for coordinates, start by looking around 17.25

But your best be is the Black Widow Hatchling's which I got a consistent drop from. You can find them around 32.32 in Duskwood.

any spiders in duskwood drop em, they're not that rare but the venom web spiders sseem to drop em more than others
