The Festival of Fire

Touch the bonfires within Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, and the Undercity, then speak to a Festival Talespinner within the capital cities.

Description

Midsummer is upon us once again!

Each year, as tradition dictates, Flamekeepers are chosen to tend the bonfires within our capitals. While fires are burning throughout Azeroth, it is imperative that ours be the hottest and brightest, to properly pay homage to the season.

In fact, I have a task for you, if you don't mind. I've not yet heard if the fires in all capitals are properly burning. Travel there yourself and warm yourself by the fires--make sure they're hot!

Under City:&nbsp &nbsp 66,36 (right at the entrace, if your&nbsp &nbsp going int the UC then u cant miss it... literally)

You just go to the flames of the opposing faction, whichever city.&nbsp You'll get the flame of that city, which is an item which starts a quest.&nbsp Return the item to your own faction's Festival Loremaster.

Alliance can get these too, each one puts a quest-starting item into your bags. Give them to a Loremaster in any Alliance capital. Depending on your server, Horde may or may not be jackasses about this.

I'm doing this quest at lvl 8 so i can get a whole crap load of xp. And hopfully lvl up in time for 2nd raid.

Is this active this year or did it get replaced by torch tossing any the like? I was looking for extra blossoms but can't pick up this quest.

Where do you get the quest if you are Alliance and want to capture the enemy cities flames? I heard there's a hat reward or something for this?&nbsp Do you need a quest or do you just go to the enemey city fires & get the flame & then you turn it in?

Though this quest says lvl 60, it's actually for any lvl. Gives decent XP for low-lvl chars, nice rewards. Especially Fiery Festival Brew :)

guess i should add the TB one is on the spirit rise and the one in UC is in the circular room on the way out the exit, the blossoms are actually worth doing , throw one in the fire and you get an hour long buff that increases your crit chance by 3% (spells and melee) 650xp for completing

took me awhile to find the one in org - its in the valley of wisdom other 2 are alot easier to find
