Description

The sabercat's fur is a distinctive gray color, blending into the surrounding forest. As she lays there, you observe that she is badly wounded, with deep lacerations across her back and stomach.

She raises her head and gazes at you, bright intelligence shining in blue eyes. She seems to wish to follow you.

Starts at 31.5,31.6, you'll need to clear a path through several casters(matriarch's which heal and have fairly good dps for their level), however you may have a bunch of windwitch's or fury's depending on which spawn.

Once you've done that, simply run back to Sentinel Arynia Cloudsbreak, it's not a standard escort as Mist follows you.

900 experience for level 14 hunter. Black tiger is found nw of the Oracle Glade moonwell near the west wall (location 31,32). 8 minute timed quest but the tiger just followed me and didn't attack anything. I'd already killed the harpies, so I just needed to kill a spider and lead the tiger to the moonwell.

quest timer was at 8 min when i finshed. killed everything on the way in, no mobs at all on the entire escort.

The quest is on a 10 minute timer, and unless you're preoccupied or lost, this really shouldn't take you 10 minutes. Return to the Moonwell where the Sentinel is at, and let the small event happen.

The timer continues to tick until you complete the quest and accept your reward.

My level 13 druid went to the NPC. There was no exclamation point over the NPC, neither did speaking with Sentinel Cloudsbreak initiate a quest.

Either level is wrong, pre-req is needed, or quest is broken --- perhaps random?

In either case, I left the area after completing Tears of the Moon and checking the NPC one last time.

For those who don't have coords, its in the little indent on your map where the mountains seperating Darnassus and Teldrassil meet the edge of the tree.

She follows you, and there are no special spawns, so you don't have to fight any mobs while on this quest if you're careful.

Mist is still bugged. You can get Mist to follow you, and Arynia sees her, but you cannot complete the quest.

we went to mist first and the quest came up...we excepted and then the panther never follows. There were two of us, so we seperated then log out/in and did it again. Still won't follow...we asked everyone playing and got mixed results. Is there a patch or a prereq?

I just did it. I don't know what I did different, but I did do all the available quests in Teldrassil. I was 14 at the time, but I doubt that's the requirement since Mist is level 10. Easy, easy escort for a 14 rogue.

If you get it to work, remember: He follows you to a time limit (9 minutes, I think?) It's not one of those follow-the-leader escorts. The gray question mark turns orange when Mist gets close enough to the elf at the moonwell.

Soloed this easily as a level 9 hunter. Go directly west from the tree icon on your world map and you can find Mist. She's surrounded by Bloodfeather Matriarchs and Wind Witches, but they're easy to pull, and that leaves you a clear path to run with Mist back to the moon well. The nine minute time limit is very generous -- I did it in about a minute.

Lead to 38.34 take the west side east side when escorting wil avoid most of the mobs
