You're looking for a grey Pitted Iron Chest (http://classicdb.ch/?object=13949) underwater in the northern leg of the big Pool of Ask'ar cave. It's where Ghamoo-ra the 25 elite turtle sits on the island in the middle. Inside the chest is the Lorgalis Manuscript that you need for the quest.

Ok i finally found the thing and for all the ppl that wantto know heres where it is....ok when you walk into to the room with the turtle boos in it from the door you walk into it at go to your left (the chest is under water) theres a little cave like thing just swim down (its protected by some minor naga) and open the chest and BAM there ya go

Despite the low exp and crappy reward I wanted to do this quest. I had other quests to do in BFD and I needed the Rep darn and Argent Dawn.

Anywho, it's in the big turtle room, but it's underwater next to like 2 or 3 clams and has 3-4 Naga gaurding it.Its towards the outside wall, in an area that doesn't have any side rooms or caverns.

For the manuscript :
Enter Blackfathom Deeps by swiming underwater, follow the tunnels (full of mobs, you'll need a party for that, we had 3 levels 22iesh and a level 30), in one of the tunnels you'll find a new zone, enter the "portal".
Go straight, kill the few mobs and jump on the plateforms, you'll get to a new room, standing in front of the new room, the chest is in the water, to your right (guarded by mobs).
You dont need to kill the turtle boss if you dont want to but it dropped a very nice armor for me, level 20 def 311 (bound when picked up). The boss was tough, cautious.
On the opposite side of the room is a dead NPC who gives you a quest (didnt write his name down, sorry ).

Blackfathom Deeps is in Ashenvale, north west of the map.

Is there any quests for killing the leader of BFD like in the Deadmines with VanCleef?

It is shareable, i am a level 46 paladin as of now and i had a level 20 share the quest with me.

You get it after you rescue the AD guy.

Allright fellas! I've found it. The stairs that lead down are at Kaliomdor 44.35 or Ashenvale 14.14. When u go inside you won't see monsters or anything until u dive and swim to the actual "dungeon".

I went there with a friend and killed everything in our path (he lvl 22 druid. I lvl 31 rogue). eventually we ended up in a room with just murlocs lvl 24 elite if my memory serves me right. At first i thought that was the place, so i went stealth and checked it out. I saw a orb(ish) thing, andh thought that was it. So i go closer, sap the guard, and try to open it. BAM it gives me a so called "Blessing of Blackfathom" that increases intellect by 5, spirit by 5, and frost damage done by 15. It's a nice boost, but not worth killing all the murlocs for.

After experiencing that, i go back a bit (still stealthed) and take another path, that leads me to a big room, with tons of humanoids (mostly warlocs and warriors) all lvl 27 (elite), after i sneak by them all i come to another room with a big statue of some guy. Since i cant break stealth i wont be able to actually finish this q at my lvl.&nbsp 'cause if i did start fighting i would have about 7 elites total on me... :( I walk around the big statue and the small plate looking things which i believe you should all light. AFTER you have killed everybody in there. there are 4 of those in each corner of the statue. When you light all those i think (THINK) that the big gate behing the statue will open and lead you to a boss. I'm not sure though. I WILL investigate the matter further when i get to a higher lvl :). Good Luck to you all! :)

Just to confirm the manuscript is in the room with a big turtle boss called Ghamoo-ra in a grey chest under the water (one of the grey areas on the map)

This quest is definelty not solo lvl 23. I was a lvl 23 warrior with a 19 priest and I couldnt even kill one mob(almost but the mob ran and got a lvl 23 elite warrior who kicked my butt. YOu need a large, experienced party at lvl 23 if you want this to be enjoyable. Doesnt help that this is horde infested in PvP.

The chest is located in the north gray area on your mini map. It is a area with colorful corel.

What are the coordinates

Do Anyone know where's Blackfathom Deeps ?
I can't find it with Worldofwar.net 's map.....
It said In Ashenvale..but..i can't really find it

Excuse me but what does Shadowfang Deep has to do with Blackfathom deeps and recovering the manuscript ? I've been running around there for hours looking for that manuscript ! Usually, reading the additional notes is enough to complete any quest (depending on how complete they are) - but after one hour not finding that darn thing I had to read on.

Why in the name of the WoW GOD him/her/it self are notes completely off topic from the quest itself included in the "Additional Notes" section ?

Yeah, now I know that I'll have to go to Ashenvale (not Silverpine Forest) ! What was the meaning with deciding that the aforementioned info should be set as "Additional Notes" ? What have I missed with all this ?

This is a nice quest, but i spent many time to find this maniscript

BFD is filled with 22-27 Elites. A group of three should be able to do this easily since most of the mobs are spread apart enough to allow single combat. The manuscript is located in one of the many chests inside the instance and is easily obtained. A solo attempt at around 33 should be feasible.
