Head south from here and stay close to the road--you'll find your way there without issue if you follow those directions.

You can pick up this quest right after turning in either http://classicdb.ch/?quest=995 or http://classicdb.ch/?quest=994 to http://classicdb.ch/?npc=3693.

http://classicdb.ch/?npc=3694 comes running in a bit after you turn in other quest, chats with http://classicdb.ch/?npc=3693 and then will have this quest available for taking.

Just did this one today, so it's definitely still in the game.

She talks to the guy that gives the "How Big is the Threat". I saw her and approached her to collect quest. I started my conversation and the quest text started scrolling, but her time to leave came and she just ran away before I could accept her quest. She faded out at the town gates so I couldn't follow her. I think she appears at night for a limited time, so keep an eye out for her if you want the quest.

She run up to Terenthis after I turned in the A Lost Master/Escape through Stealth quest and so I was able to get this quest.

This quest is to get you to the flight path in Astranaar which you will use many times as you get to higher levels.

Not every quest is not just about xp or loot!

As for followups there are many quests to do in Ashenvale.

Cant find sentinel Selarin anymore, though she was in darkshore, auberdine at 39,43.

nvm, its racial only for night elves, she spawns next to terenthis. If you dont finish escape through stealth or fight, she wont be there or anywhere at all.

I notice there is some confusion as to where Sentinel Selarin is to begin this Quest. I believe she will only appear once you have completed the Quest [A Lost Master] and rescued Volcor and only after you have talked to Terenthis. After turning in the Quest [A Lost Master] to Terenthis, you will notice a short conversation taking place between Terenthis and Sentinel Selarin. After the conversation ends, you will be able to talk to Sentinel Selarin and get the Quest. Hope this helps.

It appears that if you have already started either the Fiora Longears or Journey to Astranaar Quest, not sure which, before you complete Escaped Through Stealth/Force you will not be able to get this quest from Sentinel Selarin. I've done this sequence several times and that seems to me to be the limiting factor.

I have not been able to get it either, in spite of finishing A Darkwood Corrupted 1 1/2 levels back. Currently a lvl 22 NE Hunter

Yeah I found her now, but I can't do this one as well.

Edit: The next part of the quest, "Reane's Cleansing" can be started anyway. Just talk to Raene Wolfrunner in Astranaar, Ashenvale Forest

how do you get this quest, I'm a lvl 19 NE hunter in Darkshore, standing in front of Sentinel Selarin, and I can't even speak to her, there's no exclamation mark, or even a chat cursor.

First time around I had the same experience: She offered the quest, but as I was reading, she ran off and I couldn't accept.

Took forever for her to respawn. At fist I could not talk to her, but that it because she has some dialogue with the other NPC. I waited for her to finish, and then I could accept the quest, although I had already been to Astranar.

Not really worth the trouble, but I am a quest fanatic, I try to do them ALL. :)

i got this quest just fine, i hadent even turned in or gotten blackwood corrupted when she came running up, there was someone else tho turning in the quest i suppose perhaps you can only get it when someone else turns in the quest who knows, after i finished the quest she came running up again but as i had already accepted the quest she just talked and i ran off.
