I can't lift the curse from the Eye of Paleth. The Eyes were crafted by Human Priests, so you'll have to go to Stormwind to find someone who can help you. Speak with Archbishop Benedictus. He is head of the Cathedral of Light in Stormwind. He can help.

Everyone who posts that they did this quest so easily, or that they soloed the quest at such a low unbelievable level is probably not telling the whole truth.&nbsp

That being said, even the hardest quest can be made easier by scanning these forums and picking up the tips and hints from other users.&nbsp In the end, don't brag that you did a quest "So Easily", instead, post your methods, tips and hints so that others can revel in your genius.

This quest all together gave me about 3200xp. The whole chain of quests was an easy thing for that much xp. Easy and recomended for anyone to do for some fast and easy xp.

You'll find him in Stormwind. You can catch a Tram there from Ironforge - just ask the guard for directions. The guy you need to find is in the Cathedral Square, and you need to go inside the central building. Co-ords are 39,27.

The cursed eye would be good for shadow priests. And all they have to do to get it on an alt is run the quest through on them and BAM!Drop quest,keep eye, and your all good. Although if you ever want to continue it,you'll have to pick it up again or some such and scrafice your nifty eye.-Teepo 29 Druid,Andorhal

This is a long quest line...

It start at the guy just outside the tavern in Menethil Harbor... He wants a drink... Buy it in the Tavern.

Then, you must kill mobs around 14,24... The first mate is in the first ship, hes underneath it...

Then, You must go back again to same cordinates ( 14,24 ) and this time go to the second ship, clear some mobs, kill the captain, take his key AND OPEN THE LOCKBOX its underneath the ship on the lower deck.

Then return the quest to Glorin steelbrow, inside the tavern in menethil. ( ppl that use shadow spells use the orb you get, ppl with healing do the next quest and get the healing orb, if you dont need any of em, just do the quest for XP )

Then go to SW to Cathedral Square into the cathedral, to Archbishop, This is the quest end.

This quest can be done at lvl 27+ ( Tip: watch your breath ~.~

You DO get to keep the item.&nbsp It's the reward for doing the quest.&nbsp But it's basically worthless.... not even worth sending to a lower-level alt.

Whoops, I missed the bit about shadow priest the first time.&nbsp Maybe you don't get to keep or use it, I don't know why you wouldn't be able to though.

... which I also did. Its not marked as a Quest item, so its a easy mistake if your running multiple quests/days.

Simple, drop this quest from your quest list, then simply re-accept it from Glorin Steelbrow inside the Inn at Menethil Harbor. He will re-give you the orb, and you can take it to SW to finish the quest.

I hated this series because of the obvious: fighting underwater.&nbsp The angles sucks and I can't always tell my distance or how many undead are actually down there.&nbsp I remember one time I was fighting an undead that was under the boat and I was on the floor above him.

I did it with a guildie, and there were enough people running around the boat that you didn't have too many of them ganging up on you.&nbsp But I was hoping that you did something after getting to the Boss in SW.&nbsp

With all the struggle due to swimming I guess I forgot to get the orb and so when I went to Stormwind I was surprised to see that I was not done the quest inspite of it saying so.&nbsp So today, March 11, I dropped the quest after wandering around STV as I didn't think I would want to go back to a quest again. Once failed ... oh well ... especially since I am now at lv 58 and need to just move and quest as much as possible.&nbsp I would like to finally hit 60 soon.

i solo'd this quest at lvl 28 and thought it was very easy, just go up the keel and fight the capt by himself. then go below and find the hole in the front of the ship and pull 1 undead guy b4 you go in and thats it

Hehe.&nbsp I tried doing this myself on my 32 priest, and I guess I can't pull for $#!+ cuz I aggroed about 6 of them and died.&nbsp =(&nbsp Decided to say to hell with it and had my 60 lock clear the bottom.&nbsp =)&nbsp *wriggles*&nbsp Logged my priest back on and *big grin* whaddya know?&nbsp Easy as pie.&nbsp hehe.

I remember doing it with my lock and swearing profusely because of the terrible LoS issues with the boat.&nbsp =/&nbsp Hopefully they figure something out with that.&nbsp Cuz if you're on par with their level... not being able to target the mob down there sucks.

Sure, the rewards suck, but no one should have lost 2g on this.. just 20s.&nbsp I got lazy and went back to the quest as a lvl 34 rogue.&nbsp VERY easy to just manuever around in stealth mod.&nbsp Just took whatever I could aggro and handle out from the bottom hole of the ship, killed them (managed to survive, probably by luck of the die!), and unlock the box, which it's a #$%^& to unlock. -.-

This was pretty easy on my lvl 27 Paladin. Just pulled the captain with exorcism by climbing up the broken mast that led up the back and proceeded to fight him and only him on the mast. Killed him without having to heal at all and grabbed the key. Looked in the hole in the bottom of the ship and so a lot of Marines. Started swimming, when I heard them yell "HUH!" You know that noise Humans make when you aggro them I threw up Divine Protection and clicked the Chest. No cast time, accepted the new quest and started swimming out. Had to burn a health pot as well as lay on hands, but i survived and ran to the priest. Easy quest chain with good xp and a nice item to D/E. Good luck everyone!

Did the quest as a 25 lvl druid, pretty simple, when you find the boat, which may I add is not the first boat you went to, it is directly north of there...

When you find the other boat, go directly to the north side of it, and there will be almost a ramp like structure, walk up on it, and slowly move toward it, you will agro the captain, there you should be able to solo him, I had 15% HP, but Im also a druid so I can heal....

After you kill him, pickup the key, and jump off the ramp, and swim directly to the east side of the boat, there will be holes in the boat, were you can swim inside

From this point I stealthed my way in, and waited when there was no marines around, from there I opened the chest, and jetted out...

Not that you dont have to open the chest, all you do is click on it, it asks to complete quest, and then gives you another 1...

What does the "(B)" on the quest list mean? does this mean "both" as in Alliance and Horde? I found this (B) when pulling up all the quests for Wetlands.

just curious. Actually just confused, because if it is a "both" then how could the Horde possibly turn in the quest, since Stormwind city is Alliance, and even if invaded, would the NPC also be aggro/red towards Horde? or is this "B" a bug on Anonymous.com's side?

The order is a bit confusing in the list, but this is actually the last part of the "The Third Fleet quest"

The order is: The Third Fleet, The Cursed Crew, Lifting the Curse, The Eye of Paleth and Cleansing the Eye.

cursed eye of paleth has good stats. if you want to do damage keep it till you get better. if you heal then turn in quest and get eye of paleth.
