Demon? He appears to be a tauren, and is quite welcoming. His greeting dialouge requests that you to walk with him, so I did out of hopes of progressing that dialouge. In beta Blizzard hinted at a quest that you could only get by following a NPC around, so I've always fooled around looking for such hidden pieces. This doesn't seem to be one of them. I walked alongside him along his entire route and he took no notice.

Artorius the Doombringer, a level 60 elite doomguard disguised as a Tauren, is located in Winterspring. He is one of four vile agents of the Burning Legion which Vartrus the Ancient, a tree spirit from Irontree Woods in Felwood, wishes to see destroyed. Only a skilled hunter is able to find the demons in their disguises and defeat them.

Artorius is part of the hunter epic quest to obtain Rhok'delar and Lok'delar. As with all of the demons, he must be killed by the hunter alone: no heals, pets, mid-fight buffs, etc. Each demon requires the hunter to find a weakness to a hunter skill. Artorius' specific weakness is to the poison of a hunter's Serpent Sting. When affected by the sting, he gains a debuff called Entropic Sting, doing massive amounts of damage. The key to this fight is to stay out of range of his demonic magic, which is able to mutate players into a demon, simultaneously dealing large amounts of damage to the hunter.

Warning to Warlocks......
He is immune to Fear, and Enslave Demon.
I tried to enslave him, and I lost my pet in the process.

If you are not a hunter doing the epic quest do not interfere with this guy if he is in Demon Form.&nbsp He will be called Artorius the Doombringer.&nbsp An outsider interfered with him today while my son was doing his epic quest and caused the npc to despawn.&nbsp Not cool.&nbsp Takes 3 hours for him to respawn to try again to complete the quest.

Turns into Artorius the Doombringer (?) after spoken with. Takes about 15 seconds, so you have some time to run away from him to begin kiting. May only be spoken with if the hunter is on the Lok'delar quest (https://classicdb.ch/?quest=7636).

Saw him at 59,20 in Winterspring.&nbsp He just said "Walk with me and let our bodies keep eachother warm."&nbsp He's not in human form.&nbsp Looks like a Tauren to me.&nbsp Not sure what he's for.

This a NPC for hunters epic quest. This is one of the 4 demons . You go over to talk with him , and he transforms into a demon wich you need to kite with serpent sting untill he dies. I killed him today, but ofc I apparently was in Raid group , (thanks to the leader), and as you all know you cant complete quests in raid group. So thats 3 hours waiting time wasted.

I'm a lvl 57 Human Warlock. Was farming for skins last night and happened across this guy. I spoke to him and he said something about walking together to keep warm.

I followed him a little further ahead, and a polar bear attacked, so I killed it. After the bears dead, he turns around and attacks me! WTF?

he turns into (NPC #14535) during the hunter quest. if you see a hunter near that thing, be nice and stay away, since you will despawn the demon so the hunter can't kill him.
