Bring the Ancient Statuette to Talen, in his camp near the Zoram Strand.

Description

I would charge you with a task, <name>.

I was on my small vessel, skimming over the submerged ruins of Zoram, when naga attacked me, surging from the water and tearing at me with their claws! I fled, carrying what supplies I could to make this meager camp.

But when I reached the shore and ran... my prized possession was lost.

Please, <name>, find the site of my ambush, along the coast to the north, and search for an ancient statuette. It is the reason I have braved the dangers of the Zoram Strand.

If you look on your Map (hotkey: M), you will see "THe Zoram Strand", right about the word "THE" there is a little part of the land that stick sout.&nbsp If you place yourself right about the word 'the' when looking for this itme, you will be very close.&nbsp Just look on the ground, a little white part will be sticking out, youc an't even tell it's a statue. IT's by other rubbish.&nbsp ANyways, when u move ur cursor over it and ur close, it will turn to the gear letting u know u can loot it! =P

Talen is at 14, 31.
If you do not have coordinates, you can find him by taking the turn-off road from Maestra's point and following the mountain around. If you find the horde camp... You've gone too far =D

I found the statuette at 14, 20.
If you do not have coordinates, look for a big white rectangle building on your map. From there, go southwest to the coast.

I got the continuation quest at level 20 when I gave him the statue.&nbsp He examined the statue & found a locked compartment - NO!

I found the statue right where described, by the water near the T on the map, with a sorcerer & a warrior next to it.&nbsp

I found this quest very easy with the description of where to find the statue.

Level 20 priest.

Be damn careful in this area, there is a horde quest encampent just to the south of this area, and I was getting rez ganked by several hordes.. Eventually I spirit rezzed b/c there were so many in the area..

Stealthed over to the island. The quest target is a 21, flanked (Flanked? They're welded together.) by another 21 and a 20. No way for a 20 Druid alone. Multiple other 20 and 21 nagas on the island, so even if you do give it a shot, take out some of the outlying players first, so the main guys don't aggro them.

I took a pass and might come back, but probably not. Why? It requires assembling a group, a lot of time in an out-of-the-way place and the rewards are strictly dime store.

There is a continuation to this quest.&nbsp It is level 25&nbsp

Talen thinks that the statuette must hold a hidden compartment, and upon careful examination of the statuette he is dismayed that it is locked and is once again in need of help...

I fear the ancient statuette's secrets will remain forever hidden unless you find the key to its ancient lock.

That key is a ring, the Ring of Zoram.&nbsp It belonged to the rulers of this city before the waves of the Sundering drowned it.

For years the ring was lost, but the naga have recently found it.

Their leader, Ruuzel, dwells on an isle on the northern edge of Zoram.&nbsp Please, retrieve the ring for me!

It is next to the shore, on the shore side of the ruins just north of "THE" of The Zoram Stand on the map. Right by a boat with a lantern on it.

I dont know anything about his cord stuff, but i do know after you get the statue, and you go to get the ring, its stupid. lol 3 lvl 21's and a lvl 22. But i got in lvl 25 warrior. Good luck with that one, its nuts.

I have reached the statue but I cant seem to pick it up. Is this a bug? I abandond the quest and went back and picked it up again and still no action icon to pick it up.

It's indeed on the shore at 14,21, near 1 wraithtail sorceress and the male warrior version of a wraithtail.

I found this to be a good quest for finding green items to disenchant.

It is low level enough item for a low level enchanter to disenchant.

Kill everything, the drops are good. Pearls, small and large.

Do the follow up quest. And keep an eye out for the pink princess, she is about an inch north of the statue on an island.

this took me about 20 minutes to find.

If you look on your map it is directly above the h in the for the zoram strand on that out-jutt of land. It is directly south of the main ruins. If you look in the water in that area you can see an elven boat in tact that seems a little out of place. Go to the beach directly beside it and you'll find it.
