Wrathtail Head (20)

Description

There is evil lurking on our northwestern coast, known as the Zoram Strand.

It is the resting place of the doomed city of Zoram, destroyed during the Sundering and submerged beneath the seas. It has been lost to the night elves for ages. Lost, and nearly forgotten.

Now, the naga have returned, and for what reason we do not know. But reason matters little; we must slay these fiends and throw them back to the depths!

Return to me when your mission is complete.

The droprate is more like 100% and I think that is the only fair thing. Why should we accept nagas with no heads? Scary!

For those w/o add-ons - the Zoram Strand is along the northwestern part of Ashenvale.&nbsp A long run from either Auberdine (go south) or Astranaar (go west young man go west).

If coming from Astranaar, there is a path to your left a bit north of Maestra's Point location.

If you click on "Wrathtail heads" above, you will see "Map" links to the right of the various types.&nbsp That will give you a good idea of where Zoram Strand is located.

Good luck!

P.S. They are lvl 18 19

While killing Wrathtail Wave Riders and Sorceresses I got 20 Wrathtail Heads from 20 kills.
So, the drop rate is pretty high and it's quite easy to kill them as well.

Nice and easy quest and a fairly good reward. :)

This was the easiest quest, killed exactly 20, one head/kill, always managed to pull one alone (being hunter makes you squishy) and cleared out the area in no time.&nbsp The rest of the loot is pocket change, though, not worth it.&nbsp
There are numerous locked boxes in the area. You can't pick them up and I don't have any explosives, how do you open them if you are not a rogue / blacksmith ?&nbsp

Cheers

This quest should be real easy. But it depends on what lvl you are. All you do is go to BFD, (Blackfathom Deeps) and fight all the Naga dudes. I think all of them loot their heads. They are only 18-20. If you don't know where BFD is, it's behind the mountains by where Ashenvale first start's if you come from Darkshore.

Good luck

I just soloed this with my level 20 NE hunter and level 19 pet. It was easy enough, like everyone said.

I don't have coordinates, but if you're going north from Astranaar, take the dirt road on the left a little after you pass Maestra's Post. It'll lead to some old deteriorating white columns and you'll see the beach. Instead of going straight, I suggest you veer left once you see the columns. At first, I went straight and killed some nagas there, but that only results in 6 heads. Then I figured out that the majority of nagas are on the other side of where the road ends. After that, it was easy peasy to get the rest of the heads needed to complete the quest.

As a 19th level Druid, I did this quest. Real easy to do actually as a Druid.

The sorceresses drop the heads as well as the guads and I could out nuke them without to much difficulty. Took a about half an hour, almost every drop had a head on it.
