Elemental Bracers

Collect 5 Intact Elemental Bracers and use the Divining Scroll on them. Afterwards, bring the Divined Scroll to Sentinel Velene Starstrike at the Silverwind Refuge.

Description

Take this divining scroll--it can determine the creator of these elementals. But you will need something from them to use as a reagent to focus scroll's magic--their bracers should do nicely.

A few intact bracers from the creatures should be enough. The other bracers will be useless for our purposes, but they may be worth something to a merchant if you wish to sell them. Once you have the intact bracers attempt to use the scroll. Return to me with the results and we shall proceed from there.

The bracers drop off the water elementals in the lake right behind the outpost where you get he quest. The bracers you need are the 'intact' ones. The other bracers are vendor trash. After you have collected 5 intact bracers then you right click on the scroll and left click on the stack of 5 intact bracers. If you dont have a scroll then I would abandon the quest and start all over to get the scroll again. Once you have used the scroll on the bracers you'll need to go back to the quest giver to get the next part of the quest.(and get your exp)

Head south of this location to the little island in the lake. You'll find the mobs here. You can clearly see the bracers on their arms. In the center of the island is a lvl 27 so watch out. Once you return the (5) bracers you may notice like I did and a few others that the Diving Scroll is not in your possession as it says it should be. If this happens to you, simply abandon the quest and pick it up again. The bracers will still be in your inventory and you can immediately get the scroll and bind them.

You get a scroll when taking this quest, you must then kill the water elementals in and around the lake that you got the quest and collect 5 'Intact Elemental Bracers' then right click the scroll and take back to the npc.

I got all 5 with about 8 kills, real easy! :)

The only bracers you need are 'Intact Bracers' as these are the quest items. They are gold. The other ones ie. fractured bracer etc. are all just rubbish.

When youve got 5 intact bracer, use the scroll in your inventory from the quest giver. Just right click on the scroll, then hand quest in!

Ok, I don't understand why everyone finds this quest so difficult. First off, the locs of the enemies that drop the Intact Elemental Bracers are 48,71. They have a drop rate of roughly 20-25% for those. Than, you head back to 50,66 and right click on the scroll which you have in your inventory, which turns into the one for the quest. Tha lady is right there to turn in the quest.

The sentinel gives you a "Divining Scroll".&nbsp Once you've collected the 5 bracers, use this and it and the 5 bracers are replaced by a "Divined Scroll" that you can finish the quest with.

Easy quest! goto mystral lake in ashenvale and kill the elementals... lvl 23 -&nbsp 25 i found had the bracers i did not bothered attacking anything else ... i died three times took about 20 minutes ... the spawn is not far!

collect 5 bracers and left click the divided scroll ... in your inventory!

I did this one without too much problem, though just a word of warning...There's a lvl 27 or 28 Unique elemental that is FAR stronger than the average ones in the lake.&nbsp Keep an eye out and avoid if doing this quest around lvl 24-25 (as I did)

I had the same problem. I didn't recieve the scroll. Abandoned and retook the quest, several times. No luck.

So I forgot about it, ran around, did my thing. A little later I used a Scroll of Protection I'd been carrying around, and noticed about an hour later that the Divining Scroll had just appeared in my backpack.

So if you have any scrolls *other than* the divining scroll, try to store or use them and see if that helps.

The Befouled Water Elementals can also be find in the water just east of the small island in the lake... you can also find a mob called Tideress which have high drop rate for Green drops :)

these elementals give nothing but some water and trash bracers! I've killed about 20 jf them! Plus there is a lvl 27 one in the bottom - i had my way with him too... but none of em didn't give me "intact" bracers! this is so weak!

i was checking and no luck then i used a scroll of strength i had on inventory and closed the bag and reopened and there it was the divine scroll this quest is bugged after i used the divine scroll it disapeared and took the next part

The first 3 Elementals I killed dropped nothing. Since I could see bracers/bracelets on the ground I thought the quest was flawed. But since the next one gave me an Intact Bracer I decided it was just a bit confusing that you can see bracers on the ground but they aren't "pick-up-able".

Ok, found a new problem with this quest, lol. I have completed it, I went to turn the scroll in to the NPC and she isn't there. What the heck? I have waited and waited, just in case the had to re-spawn thanks to Horde, but no luck. <sigh> Mayby she'll be back after next blizzard update or something.

I used some acdive and got rid of my other scrolls and im pretty sure that made it appear. Try and if it works write a comment for the rest who are annoyed with this one.&nbsp JaYbIz

I've done this quest on 3 or 4 characters, always took forever to get the bracers.&nbsp Not only did the drop rate always seem pretty dang low to me, there's also a level 27 named in the lake which manages to track you down regularly and kicks your behind. The quest reward of that quest line (Light of Elune) is very useful though.

These drop off the elementals in the lake directly east of Silverwind Refuge. The only thing you have to be aware of is Tideress, a level 27 mob who roams the island in the middle of the lake.

The regular elementals range from 23-25. You can get them on the north side of the lake, in the lake, or the island in the middle of the lake. The intact bracers seemed to drop about once every three kills. You can also get damaged bracers, but these don't count for the quest.

This quest is nice because the NPC you get it from/return to is so close to where you kill the mobs.

Don't be afraid of swimming. I got it from 5 level 23s in a row, 4 of whom were in the water. Nice and easy as a level 22 rogue. Backstab doesn't work, so pulled with daggers and then ate them up.

Sorry to say but I found out that the elementals drop the bracers not very often. I just killed about 30 of them and still only have 2 bracers. Is it possible that the use of some (druid) spells damage the bracers or such thing ?
