But, there are so much enemies. A group is very good idea. But don't rush, or you must fight too much enemies at same time. Take your time, fight against less enemies if possible.
The Shadowcasters are also inside building, but look out, they're also guarded.
Only casters have orbs. Sentrys and another guards have not.

As of patch 2.3 this quest is no longer a group quest.

lvl 26 rogue, just solo'd this quest

if you are walking up to the keep from the north side, to the right of the courtyard (the front door to the keep) there are only TWO mobs, a sentry and a shadowcaster. stealth over to the cliff where they are standing and sap the sentry. you can now kill the shadowcaster, loot, and vanish. you can keep doing this till the quest is complete.

it may take awhile but you can do this solo, which is the only option i had.

Orbs are dropped by Shadowcasters. They are found at Stonewatch. 66,55

There are groups of 3 orcs (1 shadowcaster and 2 sentrys) and loners/patrolers (shadowcasters/scouts or sentrys). They respawn every 15mins or so randomly.

If u are alone keep killing them 1 by 1 until they respawn as shadowcasters and collect orbs.

You have to fight your way up the hill towards the top through scouts and sentrys. It's pretty tough. Need 5 at least 20.

The mentioned cave is only about 20 feet deep and not one of them drops the orbs.&nbsp Blizzard must have changed it with the last patch.&nbsp There was ONLY one Blackrock Summoner in the whole area.&nbsp He is at the camp next to the cave entrance.&nbsp He wears a red dress.&nbsp He also has am imp with him.&nbsp If you try to attack him, you will aggro everything.&nbsp So he is hard to kill solo unless you upper 20s.&nbsp Did I mention he re-generates?&nbsp This is the only one I can see that might drop the orb as the others did not.&nbsp This shows up as a yellow quest for me.&nbsp yeah right!&nbsp Dumb quest.

location 81, 41

I found this quest hard to solo at with my 29 Mage. Just way to many adds. Once again I had to bring my 60 Priest in to cut down the numbers since I could not find a group to do the quest with. I killed all the non-caster orcs around the keep and only let the casters and Tharilzun live. I then logged back onto my Mage and picked off the casters and the Tharil one by one. Only died once hehe and got the quests done.

More easy and fun to do with a group though.

When I did the quest my drop rate was also 100%.

I finished the quest easy. Rogue lvl 22. Stealth, use (Distraction,) Sap, Ambush and I was able to get out alive. It was 100% drop rate for me aswell. Kill the Shadowcaster first, then the non-sapped Orc and you should be fine.

Was pretty tough, I picked off one of the walking casters and got a orb, I sapped one of the Sentry, and only had a caster and another Sentry on me, killed the caster looted the orb, then I vanished. Got the others that was only a sentry and a caster, sapped the Sentry and killed the caster, looted, ran off to hand in quest.

1400xp, 385 rep (human), and 30s the quest reward.

what is the min lvl to do this quest, and recommend me a lvl to do it

i got blackrock boutny and this, i think the prereq is the quest where you have to collect battleworn axes. neither is blackrock bounty a prereq for tharil'zun.

Did this as a level 27 Paladin solo. Fought my way past the elite Blackrock Sentries and Scouts (and occasionally Outrunner), which were gray but had good loot drops, got up over the rope bridge, killed the Orcs there and was surprised to see an orc mage walking out of the gate and going off to a cliff overlooking Lake Everstill. Ran up on him, ganked him and found an orb on his body. I was really just there to get a little revenge on those orcs for smooshing me several levels before. The walking orc mage takes 15-20 minutes to respawn but I figured, like I've got something better to do? I got an orb off that orc every time. Afterwards, I slid down the hillside to the lake and swam back to Lakeside to complete the quest (killed the elite Lake Thresher on the way (good xp, only ever seems to drop Threshadon Fang (a decent but gray-quality dagger for low-levels)). The whole deal netted me decent cash/loot (including a Searing Blade that random-dropped off one of the Sentries).

The Shadowcasters are located at Stormwatch keep which is in the NE corner of the lake. Be very carefull dangerous area.

These are not at 81,41, they are at the keep 66,55

81,41 is for the Tower of Ilgalar to collect pendants for the quest called 'Tower of Ilgalar'they are gnolls, not the orcs this quest needs

Do we only get 30 silver coins for this quest, no other cloth armor, or weapon?[Black][/Black]

when people say the numbers such at 81, 41...how do you find out where they are talking about?
