This is a loooong quest, I recommend keeping it and picking up the bits as you work your way through the levels.

After completion of the previous quest part, she usually comes to thank you for subduing Hendel, but will quickly despawn and reappear back in the upper level of her tower. On the two times I've done this quest she usually does it right before I can click complete on the quest fo finish it, which is a pain.

So be quick, click on complete and you won't have to run all the way back into Theramore Isle.

When I talked to the guy in Menethil, I then had to beat up Slim a little and then he told me about the plan. Then I had to go back to the other guy who sent me on to Theramore and a Commander Swauler there. This guy then sends me to the first tower, where I meet Proudmoore's assistant or something. He tells me to find the Hendel guy around the marshes. I can't find him yet, though I've found some of the INfiltrators.

The other thing to think about is that when you fight the Dwarf in SW and Private Hendel, it'll flag you as PvP if you are on a PvE server.

Keep that in mind. The first time, you're in SW so its probably not an issue; the second you are in Dustwallow so depending on where you go from there it could be an issue.

I did this quest and everything went fine until I tried to talk to her to finish. She left as soon as I got done talking to Archmage Tervosh! Can anyone help me find her, if it is even possible?

solo'd 35 druid 4300 xp 200 Alliance rep
hendel is right behind the 2nd tower look 4 dock & tent
have to deal w/ him 35 & two friends 35 & 36
do not have 2 kill him just down to 75%
wait a few sec & jaina appears behind u to finish

Man, I never killed private hendel cuz I had a bug and couldn't attack him...but what's the point? This quest is given to you after you defeat hendel? cuz as I said I never defeated hendel, but I took this quest from a guy in SW KEEP (can't remember the name now). ANd now I can't find this quest ... from where can I take it? cuz i want the ring!

I tried the kiting in of the spider across the road, and it worked like a charm. Bring the spider in so that the guards start attacking it. When it's close to dead, trigger the quest from Hendel and step back to the guards. They should lay into him, and after a few hits he'll focus on them and you can just whack away at him until Jaina arrives. Did it this way with a lvl 30 warrior, and it worked. No potions, no buffs.

And there is no other quest. This is the end. Get used to unresolved issues . . .

hendel guy killed me and now nothing happens when I meet him again. How can I continue? abandon the quest and go back to the commander?

im going to ruin the fun and tell you the whole plot. the missing diplomat is the original king of stormwind, his lvl 5 son is the king and fordragon is ruling in his place until son is of age. the black dragon flight got the defiace to kid nap the king and take him to dustwallow where they handed him off to the flight. there is a bunch of end game chian quest in which lady onxyia spawns int eh chamber of stormwind keep and kills the lvl 5 boy.then yells and leaves while fordragon kills all her guards.so blackdragon flgiht kid nap king maybe ate him
