I spoke to Vimes at Theramore Keep 68,48 and he suggested (white talk bubble inside the interaction window, at this stage it is not a quest, just a friendly talk) that I travel to the border of The Barrens and Dustwallow Marsh to look around the burnt remains of Shady Rest Inn.

29,48 - Dustwallow Marsh map is the fireplace in Shady Rest Inn, above which is the shield that gives the first quest.

The quest tells you to go to Theramore Isle and talk to Captain Garran Vimes (68,48 upstairs in the Keep). Vimes will tell you to show the shield to Caz Twosprocket at the Theramore blacksmith shop 64,50. Twosprocket sends you back to Vimes.

Coordinates for Caz Twosprocket is 64.52 (you need Cosmos to have any use of coordinates. Google it)

and as far as "looking on the ground" if you are facing the inn from the road as you approach the inn slightly to the left are 2 hoofprints. Click them and continue yer quests!

Its on the mantle of the fireplace at the shady inn.. get it and take it back to the town.. there you will have to go to the blacksmith!

I know a lot of guildies got stuck here...basically you take the black shield back and the quest kinda just ends...go back the the inn and look on the ground...you might find something....

This sounds like a stupid question, but how do you get to Garren Vimes? I can see his dot on the mini map in the citadel, but I can't get to him. I can get so I am over the dot in the cellar, on the ground floor and on the roof but he is not there, so he must be on one of the intermediate floors, but I can't get to that spot. I'm thinking it might be a bug but if not can anyone tell me how to get to him ?

it took me quite a while to realize what i was doing in this tower as well. When you go up the first flight of stairs there are 2 ways to go, 1 is another flight of stairs (prob where you've been going) the other looks like a wall at a glance, but it's a ramp, it takes you to the room where you will find the Capt. and a few other NPC's.

in the swamp is a little hut, the Swamplight-estate.
Beside the hut is a grave. There you find a scroll of an oger spy
