Description

A few weeks ago I was picking herbs far from my house, and a band of ogres attacked me! I ran, and I was forced to leave behind a crate of precious tools and herbs.

After they chased me off, the ogres swaggered back to the ogre mound in southern Duskwood. I'm sure my crate is somewhere near the mound.

Please, <name>, retrieve this crate for me for I miss it sorely.

The Ogre Mound area (I'm not sure why it's called a mound because they're all down in a vale) can be entered and exited from the West end near Addle's Stead, and this is very close to the cave entrance where the crate is. Enter from the West end and follow the wall to the right until you see the cave and the crate. Only needed to kill two ogres, very easy. ^_^

Did it with my lvl 26 mage. If you enter the mound from the west you have to kill about 2-3 lvl 29-30 ogres. It's easy since you can pull them one after the other. The chest is just on the right side of the entrance to the cave. Outside...

The Crate is really easy to get to if you go from the back, there is only two Orge near it, and u can pull one at a time.

i done it by my self lvl 30 warlock

Stiches is a timed spawn.&nbsp This only ends at the bride of the embalmer.&nbsp If you see stiches at some point while you have this series of quests, its just a coincidence.&nbsp Otherwise, everytime someone did the embalmer, stiches would show up and that hasnt happened as often as it should've hasnt it?

The ogre area is a crater like thing. So you go around the outside higher level and keep going around untill you're to the western side of the cave, on a the higher hill. Pull 1 ogre near the cave, then the one beside the crate. From there on you grab crate, get chest (if it's there it was for me) and run back up the hill. :)

Kassiel's coords are spot on. Visually, the crates are to the left of the Ogre mound entrance when you are facing it, behind the fallen log.

Even though the quest is marked as a level 30 quest it was actually pretty easy to do at level 27.

The ogre stronghold is on the very south end of darkshire, slightly do the east raven cemetary. If you follow the main road a path will take you directly into the stronghold. It's more just a camp with ogres all around, but once you discover it you should see the cave on your map. Go to the side of the cave that's farthest from the entrance to the camp, and you should see a bunch of boxes.

Just so it's clear (because it wasn't to me), the crate is NOT inside the cave. It is in a pile of crates/barrels to the right of the cave mouth. Killed one ogre (Level 29) and easily grabbed the crate.

solo'd as a 25 druid... i aggroed closest orge behind the rock wall and entangled him, that way if he used battle shout he won't aggro a nearby mob, looted the chest ran as a cat.... easy.

I lucked out in that I just went to the ogre mound to see what level mobs were about and saw a Level 29 Gnome Rogue polishing off the last ogre near the crate so after she looted the box (she was doing the same quest), I went down and got it too. Lucky for me as a Level 26 paladin, since I wasn't confident about soloing level 30 ogres to get the box (as Level 27 I was able to take them one at a time without much risk).

go 30,74 then go east a bit, should only have to kill 3, the objective is right side of cave opening. leave the way you came in. quick and easy.

I did it with my lvl 25 paladin.
All I did was:
Kill a orge.
it loots the crate and i completed the quest.
Ogres are very weak, it can be killt with a lvl 24 account.

For rogues, just stealth to the crate location (to the right of the cave) and open the crate. The ogres don't see you, and after receiveing it, stealth back (or vanish if you aggro) and you're done. Easy as 1-2-3

If you're a Priest and you don't feel like waiting until level 30ish to complete this quest then a simple way to get this done without fighting a single thing is to do the following:

- Head to the ogre cave from the west, staying along the edges of the mound.

- Position yourself within range of the two (usually) ogres near the crate.

- Lay a Mind Soothe on both ogres and you should have enough time to rush to the crate and safely grab the quest item before the Soothe is up.

If you get resisted by either ogres, ditch it and run then rinse, lather and repeat. At level 23 this took me no more than 3 to 4 minutes. Got resisted about 6 times.

Goto the Cave, it's behind the log. Be sure to do the Look to the Stars in the Cave. LV32 Warlock Solo-ed both, with no difficulty.
