This is a relatively easy escort quest, since you will have had to kill most of the local mobs in order to reach Dalinda. You only have to worry about respawns outside the building and the occasional quest specific spawn popping up. Easy to solo once you get to her.

All goes smoothly in this quest series until the escort. Why do NPC's behave so stupidly when you try to help them? Frustrating! Almost made it out until she walks&nbsp into the worst of the Orcs. Needless to say. She died.

The mobs outside the building will respawn fairly quickly, so go as quickly as possible and you should avoid most, if not all of the respawns. Other than that, it's fairly straight forward and not to difficult. I did this as a lvl 33 shaman.

I've only successfully done this once (partied with a meleeing mage, no less!), so I don't know if Dalinda always goes this way, but she exitted by the LEFT entrance to the room when we did it (her left from where she's kneeling), so you might not have to clear the entire building if she always goes this way.

She also didn't help at all. I hate escort quests where the stupid NPC just keeps walking.

You definitely want her to lead. She won't immediately attack things you aggro so you'll want her to do it herself, then just help her finish them off and you shouldn't have any problems.

I'm a 37 warrior and this quest is green for me... has been since at least 36 (the precursors were green at 35, possibly lower). I can get her out of the building, but I can't begin to get her out of the fortress. When we get outside we're ambushed by 5-6 burning blade... any ideas?

...not a follower (pet-stule escorting). Therefore I would recommend clearing a path out from her, then returning and just dealing with whatever wandering mobs you may meet. She does have some survival skills, but aggros from across the room-- so kill all the Burning Blades where she is first, then try to get back before they respawn.

The cloak is probably the best reward for a mail-wearing character, though it's not great. But the Darnassus reputation is above average.

I soloed this whole thing as a lvl 33 human warlock. I died a couple times, but it was mainly from horde problems.

if i failed the last quest, its seams i cant restart that quest. the first quest cannot be given (i ahve made its). and the tyril quest also cant be redo... Any know how i can restart it?

BTW - she is a nice tank+dps: my druid only had to stay back and heal her every now and then )

This quest is all kinds of buggy, she walked past at least three orcs which didn't agro on her, but then agroed on me and she kept going until orcs four and five actually attacked her.
