Bring the Forged Steel Bars to Thun'grim Firegaze in the Barrens.

Description

I will give you a weapon, <name>, but first you must aid me. The Razormanes to the northwest came into my camp a few nights past. They would not meet me in combat, but they know my eyes are bad--a few distracted me with snorts while others stole from me! The cowards!

They took an iron chest, and within it were some forged steel bars. If you can recover them then I will give you the weapon you seek.

Search for the iron box within the quilboar camps, and return with the forged steel bars.

The Co-ordinates for the box of Forged Steel is in fact 55.26.
It is just NW of Thun'grim Firegaze . Just down the face of the mountain.
It is a Quilbore Camp,not Razormane. You can see the broken wagon as you
are coming down off of the mountain .

IT IS a random camp, its near ONE of the wagons. its not allways at the camp nearest XR, but also in the camp towards the outpost :)

The directions for the steel is correct except it is indeed a Razormane camp.
just head down the mountain and its on the tip of the NW ridge.

If u have problems finding the right place go to xr (crossroads) go at the road north and turn of when u reach the corner of the mountain then the first thing u will see is the wagon

And to see coords use a ui like ctmod or something (ctmod.net) then u can see coords when in your map

i downloaded titanbar, and when i'm at 55,27 i am to the right of Razor hill, it's far from razormane lands, and i aint spottin some damn razormane camps there. liek woot?

I'm pretty sure it spawns at a random camp, since there are several. I just found it at 53, 27... Just to the east of the northernmost entrance to Crossroads.

The broken wagon and the steel box are directly east from the Crossroads. You will see the brambles on your world map. Just watch for the patroling hunters, otherwise you will only have to kill 2 thornweavers (casters).

its so easy ... i just walked in adn took it... killed one watermane on the way back only cause i could (didnt need to ) cord are 55,62 or just go to Torn Hill and you cant miss the wagon its right next to the big hill where the quest giver is.

Yes, the quest is insanely easy and the value of the weapon equals the diffulty of the quest. It's not terrible for a 1H and the target and the questgiver are so close together that with the 850xp its well worth it.

The stolen Iron Chest is to the North WEST of the guy from whom you get the quest. It is indeed by a broken down wagon near Quillboar Waterseekers.

At level 10 it was not difficult at all.

First, go slowly. See the pattern (there is a hunter roamer who really sucks if he catches you while you are fighting something else). Kill him solo.

There are two guarding the crate. I went in from the right and single-pulled one, killed it, pulled the other, killed it, clicked the chest, done.

The do not respawn that fast, you just have to watch for roamers.

I did this at level 11 solo with a total of 3 kills. (I was otherwise occupied/sidetracked with other quests or I'd have gotten to it when it was given.)

Starting from the southern-most point of the camp, I killed one Razormane that was roaming between me and the broken wagon, waited for any hunters to wander off, and followed it up with killing the geomancer near the crate, and one other that aggroed while I was opening it. Then I hiked back up the hill to turn the quest in.

Other than my prairie dog jumping into Thun'grim's fire and dying on the hilltop, the quest sequence went smoothly for me.

as a warrior, I did it lazily without watching aggro, ended up having to take on 4 mobs total (2 casters and a hunter + pet) but doable if you have a lesser healing on you. My advice is to do this quest along with the razormane grind quest, double your productivity.

Actually it's 55,26. 55,62 lands you down by Camp T. And there are two Razormanes there by the wagon, you should have to kill at least one, and if you don't watch out for the Hunters, you'll wind up with even more on you.

At level 12 this is nearly impossible to solo.

The creeps around the chest spawn at an unbelievable rate and the wandering hunters add to the fight and finish you off after barely surviving the two creeps you nail.

I searched and killed all the stupid razormanes of the barrens but didn't find anything. I'm lvl 28 now and it's quite sad. Can someone tell me the exact position of the bars?
