Defeat the Minor Manifestation of Fire, and place the Glowing Ember in the brazier atop the Shrine of Eternal Flame.

Description

The fire sapta is finished. The time has come for you to face the flame. Use the sapta at the shrine and head to the top of the mountain to face the manifestation there. He will not attack until you are ready, but he will realize you are able to see him.

Strike him down swiftly, <name>, for he shall only grow in power the longer you take to slay him. Once he is defeated, place his glowing embers within the brazier and light the torch.

Tried to take out this thing twice at level 11. It took me out like I was level 1. I attacked him immediately when he spawned. Damn near every spell it either resisted or was immune to, when I did hit it, it regened like crazy, and the damage I took was insane. Felt a bit like swiss cheese. How the hell do you kill this this (granted, I could level to 60 and try it and maybe win if I am extremely freaking lucky). Others said this guy was cake...did something change? Think I'd have better luck fighting in Winterspring!

EDIT: Tried twice more at 11 with no luck. Decided to blow it off for awhile. Came back at 13 and was able to defeat him - it was a fairly close fight.

Go to the large rock next to Telf Joolam and use the fire sapta. The Minor Manifestation of Fire will be ready to fight. Use rockbiter and earth shocks, because fire attacks don't help as much on a fire elemental. Take his Glowing Ember from the loot, and use it on the Brazier of the Dormant Flame. You will finish and light your torch, transforming it from something that looks like a vendor weapon called a Cudgel, to the Torch of the Eternal Flame. Then, take it back to the guy who sent you to Telf Joolam in the first place.

Pretty much goto the Big rock right next to telf, then use your fire sapta to see the fire guy, he is quite easy just apply your Rockbiter instead of your flametongue and only use earth shock instead of fire shock, quick and easy fight!!!

Go to the big rock next to the questgiver.&nbsp Turn right up the hill and check out the plateau and the little object (birdbath looking item).

Go back down to the big rock and drink the Septa.&nbsp Five fire elementals will spawn.&nbsp Four are harmless and connot be attacked.&nbsp The one in the middle can be attacked, but will only fight after being attacked.&nbsp Attack and kill it.&nbsp It is immune to fire spells.&nbsp After looting the quest item from the corpse, a second fire elemental will appear where the first one was.&nbsp It will not attack you and you can operate the little shrine item without fear of aggro.&nbsp Unless you are foolish enough to attack it and begin a second battle.

You have to use the Sapta next to the large grey rock that is just down the hill from the top.&nbsp That spawns the Fire Elemental.

An easy battle, i took him down with rockbiter and some earth shock. If you're lucky, he respawns and you can kill him again for some experience.

This was so easy. Use the drinks, the black statue will flash, you get a buff for 20 mins to detect elementals, you straight walk up the path to your right (YOU WALK UP). And there they are. Kill is easy, but dont hassle too long. Place the thingy in the scale behind the elemental and get 1150XP.

where do you get the glowing ember? You use the fire sapta near the tall stone rock and it allows you to see the fire elementals at the top. Then you kill one of them and get the glowing ember ... use the ember and the torch of the dormant flame on the brazier at the top and get the torch of the eternal flame. Return with the flame to barrens and Kranal Fiss.

Ok, I am trying to get the 2 items needed to get the fire totem. I got the fire tar, but I can't get the reagent pouch. I've been in skull rock over 4 times all the way through killing every orc along the way, and they never droped the pouch. Is it supposed to be a drop or in a chest or from one of the bosses in the cave or what?

It realy simple!

When you have talked with the guy on the mountain, dont go back.. Walk to the big grey stone right for the man you just talked to.

When you are standing in front of the big stone, use the sapta.. Then you walk up to the top, en kill one of the fire-guys, and picks up the "Glowing Ember"..

Now you just finish the quest by clicking on the little grey thing infront of you..!

it is NOT the cave at Skull Rock -- you went too far (as I did initially).

When you go out of the NE entrance/exit at RH and head north... if you see a small hut on your right, you are a bit too far east.&nbsp

Just keep walking north and look over toward your left.&nbsp there are a few mob outside of the cave (which I don't think is shown on our mini-map).&nbsp

I did call of fire, and got fire totem.
When reached lev 20, I found that I wasn't able to learn searing totem rank 2, because I had not taken searing totem rank 1.

Now, I do not remember what exactly happened, but may be I forgot something in the quest?

If someone will give up the quest leaving the elemental alive the next one will be not able to
kill that one. Just drop the quest and the item and get it again ftom the troll.

THE BIG STONE WHERE YOU TURNED IN THE LAST ITEM.

Drink the thingy, run up the little path like 10 feet up, kill the elemental

then youll have the ember, and the torch, click on the cog wheel on the little plate thing, and your done!

My problem is a litle difrent from yours.
I had two items neded for sapta so I have got the Fire Sapta.
BUT... I didnt even drink it and i can see fire elements, and i can kill them. So i have got the Glowing Embre.
(-again BUT) The reson I didnt dring Fire Sapta is becose there is no shrine! its not on the top of the hill or aroun it! its not next to that guy Telf Joolam (in front him, behind him or enywhere els). I had search like 2 days and didnt find. ...so I cant bring that stuff to Shrine and compleat the quest. And I dont know about you guis (and girls) but I can see 2 Telf Joolams, one next to the fire elementals and one just alitle bit down the hill (I have search for the srine for *2 days* :(

I just killed him as a lvl 11...
It was good to do.
I first put my Stoneskin totem.. then attacked him.
Didnt have to use a potion at all..

I still had kwarter of my hp.
So you can do it as a lvl 11

It was kinda hard but i did him at lvl 10, but had like nothing mana or hp left. Just get ur Stoneskin totem up before fighting, use ur Rockbiter weapon and lightning shield. Used a HP potion also so you should have 1 for the fight,really helpt me alot.

Anyone who says this fight is difficult is completely unprepared for it.

I did it al level 11. Intended to do it at 10 but gained a level with the prequests.

Just spend 20 silver in the auction house on a mace and shield.

Run to top of mountain, cast stoneskin totem, run to stone, drink the sapta, immediately run to top of mountain again and kill the thing.

Over the course of the entire fight, I took 130 damage, and I had 270 health with 511 armor.

One u complete the quest with Telf just use the item given infront of the gray stone and turn back and climb up the small rock u can see the fire elemental, easy to beat. I got the drop from the first time.

The final battle is easy enough, if you are prepared. Before you go to the top of the mountain, you will come to a monolith with markings on it. You can only drink the sapta at this location. If you go to the top of the mountain where the altar is, you won't be able to consume the potion.

Once you do, head up to the top and get ready to fight as soon as possible as the longer you wait, the more buffs the fire manifestation will add to itself.

At 12, it was a fairly easy fight. The other fire manifestations will not join in the fight.

K got the sapta, slayed the fire thing, but somehow the game bugged or something.. I placed the gem thing at the firepit, then lit the fire...

Somehow the gem just was in my inventory again, but the fire was still lit.. Now i cant place it in the firepit anymore, any clues on how to reset it? Already tried abandoning and re-accepting, still no dice :/

I assume you've figured out by now that theres a "dish" behind the fire elemental. Once you've defeated the elemental and recieved the ember you click upon the dish to get the lit torch that you seek.

Killed this damned thing 3 times and ZERO embers drop.

Forget about taking on a second attempt without resetting because the second time it has all of its buffs.

Edit: Turns out it is a BUG. Sometimes even though you click accept and get the Fire Sapta the damned game does NOT add the quest to your log. You need to accept the quest again and then the ember drops

after patch 1.10 this quest might be bugged...or i'm very oblivous to a simple step...

went to the stone, drank the potion, went up to the top and all 5 flames where there, could only clikc the 'minor flame manifestion' started to attack, my dmg came up but his health bar never moved and it never attacked back...anything i miss?
