Oh my word..&nbsp why OH WHY would somebody decide it was a good idea / "cool" to lie about doing this quest at a low level?&nbsp

I've ready a LOT of BS on thotbot.. but this one has to be one of my favorites!&nbsp It's so stupid and sad that it's funny.&nbsp All that's missing is him saying how he did it with his Drawven Shaman!&nbsp LOL

Congrats on soloing a quest at L8, picking up a quest item by fluke, for a quest that you canNOT get unless you are a level 10 warlock.&nbsp **swoon**

She is quite hard to beat for a level 10, since she also drags 2 other mobs into the battle. After trying several different stradegies I finally found one that worked:
Put a Curse od Agony on Surena, so all 3 mobs come after you. Then put your imp on Surena to make her attack him. All you need to do is run around with the other two whilst Curse of Agony and your imp kill her. After some time you'll lose the 2 other guys's aggro, then just run over to the corpse and loot the choker.

I found this to be far easier, and much less time consuming.

Stand just close enough so that you can hit Surena with the Curse of Agony, and she'll run out first and blast you with a spell.&nbsp Your imp will then auto-attack her, drawing the aggro off of you.&nbsp When the warriors come out, fear both of them, then hit her with an immolation, and then fear the warriors again, loot your prize, and call it a day.

Worked perfectly for me, but then again, maybe I just got lucky...

She isnt in the house anymore there are just the other two mobs, No surena, i know where she is supposed to be btw.

Can somebody tell me where she has moved to?

When i looted Surena the thingy wasn't there. I checked the ocasional chests that were in there too but it wasn't there.

With all the alliance lowbies headed to Goldshire for quests it's easy to grab help once you get there.

I have never been to that farm when there are not at least 2 others killing something there.

If by some horrible chance no one will help you, the easy way, to win, is to set up all your dots on her and hit fear. Then run away from her helpers in a BIG circle till she dies. Run up to her and loot, and run away.

It appears that the 3 named mobs at the house in Brackwell Pampkin Patch always spawn together, and would not respawn until all three is dead.

So if you go to the house and can't find Surena Caledon, kill the rest first -- then Surena will respawn (along with others).

This most likely isn't a bug ... devs presumably made it this way so that even unexperienced players can clear the house solo by using "hit-and-run" tactics (this is a level 10 quest after all ... chain fearing **shouldn't** be the only solution to it).

So if you're pretty good and can clear all three at once, praise unto thee, otherwise, here's a much simpler version of clearing the place at level 10:

1. Clear the area around the house.
2. Start casting your non-instant DoT (Immolate or Corruption) on Surena or Erlan.
3. While casting your first DoT, command your Imp to attack the same mob (Ctrl+1 or mouse-click the action bar).
4. Apply the rest of DoTs and run.
5. When you come back, there'll be only two of them. Now it should be very easy ... fear & conquer!

What probably happens if you follow this, would be: Morgan putting a Gauge on you and turning to your Imp. So don't panic, concentrate on getting the DoTs on the first mob and run.

I believe that's the way devs probably had in mind when they designed the encounter -- you can probably follow it even if this Lock is your very first toon.

I found it very easy at level 10 to do this fight, i just stood at max range, dotted up the chick.&nbsp and then feared the two guards as they were running at me, launched a few shadow bolts at the chick she died ran in looted and was done.

Soloed it at 10 (first time playing Lock as well).

Clear the two guards and then when there are 3 guys in the house, shoot the girl with shadow bolts and make your imp attack too...

When shes down, loot her and run in another direction, and use a healthstone and potion if you have one.

I easy soloed this at level 10 with my imp and demon skin and blood impact for my buffs. just all out DPS shadow bolt and imp fireblast the mage. then fear the rogue then kill the warrior after the war is dead then kill the rogue.....simple (remember level 10)

Ya it is really easy to do at lvl 10 but the thing you need to remeber is that after you kill the girl just get the thing before dealing with the guards.

This was my second time through it. My first was with someone much higher level than me. This time, I got killed about 8 times, but I should've read here, how to go about it, first. Finally, I grouped up with one other level 10, and we went at them together. The Voidwalker summons, by the way, is down below the Slaughted Lamb, and you just keep going, until you come up to the room with the pink flashing triangles on the floor. Forgot to get the coords. I will, and get back here with them. Incase you don't want to search for the other quest.

i went to the house and the two guards were there but the girl was not and i do have the quest what do i do?

This quest leads into (Quest #1689)

After picking off the random enemies in front of her hut I only got her and a named add when pulling. After fearing him this was an easy fight (make sure to clear the surroundings first though).

My imp and I just ganked her while I sacrificed myself to her thugs. Loot her and then die seems to be the best way when soloing at level 10. Or...find a friend.

Remember the solo warlock's creed.....do damage, take damage. Loot. Die. Resurrect to loot and die another day.

Quite easy as Lvl 10 warlock... Just put on her all your curses, fear her companions, wait till she dies, get the drops, and run away from there.

As simple as that.

Surena and the two named mobs with her are on a very short spawn timer. That, and they also always spawn together. If you get to the house and Surena isn't there, kill the other two mobs inside and she will spawn shortly after.

Yeah, this quest is tough. Fear is the key if you plan to solo it, otherwise get someone hanging around the pumpkin patch to help you.

i barely managed to solo it at lvl 10, it is pretty hard.. but wfull dotting Surena.. and fear the 2. and attack the 3.. it works

for me this quest was easy at lvl 10 i just send the grip to atack her and then i caster shadow bolt at her many times it toke me 3 secs to kill her on the mine time the henchmen was attacking me then i atack him

at lvl 10 i was able to cast all dots on her and kill her in 10 secs then quickly grab her necklace. at this lvl u dont suffer much penalty for resurrecting too :p

For those that, like me, have trouble finding this place, it's in Elwynn Forest, the South East part of the zone. Surena is in a house on the edge of the patch, along with two henchmen with whom you will have to deal in one way or another - Fear one and send your Imp pet on the other while you nuke Surena as quick as you can then loot and run.

I have killed this chick four times now and when I loot her body there is no choker!

There are actually no prereq's for this quest. You just need to go to the Slaughtered Lamb downstairs and talk to Gakin.

I killed Surena solo at lvl 10 on my first try thanks to the postings. If no one is around to help you:

1. Have your imp attack her
2. Nuke her with DOTs
3. (optional step)Fear one of the MOBs that is with her (2 total). I actually did not fear any MOBs, but it is good if you have time.
4. Run like mad to the corner of the patch, but make sure you don't grab any more aggro from the other MOBs around the pumpkin patch. [:yikes:]

Her group will run back inside and she should be dead outside waiting for you to loot her. [:yippee:] If she lived... rinse repeat.

Note: Try to have a healing potion ready because they can stun you and get your health pretty low if you are not careful.

This quest is fairly easy for a LvL 10, but your going to want to have a preist there just incase things get hot...

This area is located just south of the eastern road out of Goldshire, just before the bridge. Helped me a bit, still had to search a lot though.

I killed this girl like over 7 times and each time there is no choker! Even this drawf that was there couldn't find it on her either. Does anyone know how to get it from her?

Very, very easy quest to handle at L10. This is what I did, and it was cake:

Kill all the defias guys around the house, there shouldn't be more than four or five non-named gang members. Princess and her entourage won't aggro you, so don't worry about them.

The first guy, Erlan Drudgemoor, is standing in front of the door. Immolate, Corruption and Curse of Agony him, have your Imp attack him as well, Fear the second guy that comes out, wait a few seconds, and Fear Surena Caledon. Using "TAB" to target helps out a lot here. Wand down Erlan Drudgemoor, he should be at 30%~ when you're done fearing Surena.

DoT the second guy, same three you hit Erlan with, then help your imp by wanding, he should be dead just as Surena is casting her first, maybe second, spell on you. Pop your Healthstone at this point. Send the imp after Surena, hit her with all three DoT's and wand away. Complete cake. Good luck.
