For the follow up of this quest, here is some info:

Mob: Affray Challenger (hostile)
Level: 26-27
Health: 860

They come one after the other with a 15-20 second break between. You kill them one by one, if too many Demoralize Shout to fear them all, and hunt them one by one. When you have killed the 5 (?) challenger, the boss comes.

Boss: Big Will (neutral)
Level: 33
Health: 1300

You might want to get full health points before going further, you got time to bandage or eat. He is easy, put a rend, demo-shout, use retaliation (if you are desperate) and he is down. Does not hit that hard either, around ~40 and crits ~70 (with demo-shout on).

I can't help but notice the NPC name "Klannoc Macleod", and "The Islander".

"I am Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod. I was born in 1518, in the village of Glenfinnan, on the shores of Loch Shiel...and I am Immortal."

Highlander, anyone? :)

you can solo the berserker quest at level 30 or 31 if you use this trick:

the enemies in this quest will be feared if you use demoralizing shout. yes - normally this skill just reduces attack power, but it will cause fear in these quest enemies. you can spam demo shout (the rage is cheap) and kill them all as they run.

If you need to, use first aid. hit demo shout, then first aid, you will be able to get a lot of hp back before the fear wears off.

you can't fear big will, the last boss. he hits very fast with both fists and has godly damage reduction. I recommend a sword / shield combo with shield block as this is a great way to mitigate damage from a fast hitter like this.&nbsp be SURE to use demo roar and sunder armor x5 at the beginning of the fight.

I wish I hadn't waited. Here's what I did. Took the boat from Booty Bay in Stranglehorn Vale to Ratchet. I hugged the coastline in water as much as possible so as to avoid the Hoard guards . When i was even with Fray Island I swam out. No problem there. You talk to the guy and he tells you to fight each person in the Fray. I did so with ease(all under 30th level). I had to use one greater healing potion because there is no time to recover between opponents. After you fight all oppenents if you read the general chat Big will will tell you to start when you are ready. I ate some food after the last oppenent to prepare and turned around and started fighting Big Will. He was only marginally tough for me at 34th level. I use a 2 handed sword. I just kept pumping away with rend, heroic strike, and Cleve and he was down before you knew it.&nbsp All in all not as bad as I assumed it would be. I hope this works out for you guys. I believe it could be challenging for level 30 but it is definitely doable. By level 32 it should be a cakewalk. Good Luck Warriors!

Im a human warrior, done the quest and it was pretty easy, on some parts it came pretty close to half your health but as long as you have healing potions and silk/heavy silk bandages you can make it with ease.

- Get the quest, for human warrior, you should be done with nearly ever quest in duskwood, have some nice equipment for that so you can travel through STV without to many problems.
- Walk south to STV and down to BB, if you stick to the path you wont aggro any beasts (be carefull with the lvl 39+ Pirates and Beasts near the Arena and BB entrance).
- At BB get the boat to Rachet.
- You may choose to jump out of the boat before it reaches Rachet.
- Their is only one, shallow crossing to the island (all other ways will give you fatique)
- At the island, talk with the islander and he wants you to take on the fray. (timer of 10 min starts)
- When you get the first couple of guys take em down quick (you may choose, to switch to defensive and to battle all the time, but remember after a few hits more start to enter, so i recommend stay with battlestance)
- As more enter the ring, start demo shout them and they start running, make sure you start running after one, because more will come and if you dont take any out, your gonna get hurt (hehe).
- When you demo shout a couple, choose the weakeast and go after him and hamstring him (to slow down his running), start doing this one by one to take them down. Try to do this everytime in a corner of the island, if they come back for you, they start running and the one your after, wont get far (they wont swim away, just stand there like an invisible wall prevents them to move further even though they run)
- If you get low on health, make sure your far away from the ring (corner of the island) for any newcomers, demo shout then drink potions, and bandage, before returning to beat on them and demo them again.
- You may also choose to retalliate a couple of them.
- When you beat them all, lvl 33 Willy is waiting.
- With a a good DPS sword between 16 DPS and 20 DPS and a shield at 600-650 armor. You can kick his butt, charge him and do all your favorite moves on him (sunder, rend, thunderclap, execute, shouts (it wont fear though) and some other moves).
- He is dead, get to the islander and get your berserker stance.

Gratz, you have your third stance. And you received a quest for a nice weapon.

Just did this quest and had to share my funny story with you -)

Im a Lvl30 War (Fury atm), went to the island - started the quest... There was a lvl30 war horde (opposite faction to me) standing by watching, he started to /emote laugh at me etc ^.^ So I thought as the first trash mobs were quite easy Id charge at the horde between the mobs that were coming at me, so I did... I didnt realise that the normal mobs kept coming even when you didnt kill the previous, so I was duelling the horde with 2 of these trash mobs trying to take me from the rear o.O, I killed the horde =) but with all the running around the mobs had gone and no sign of Big Will ^^ Spent a minute looking around the island thinking I was prob gonna have to reset quest coz time was ticking away etc. But I knew hordie would be back... So sure enough he turned back up and tried to attack me, I once again handed his ass to him =) So, decided I would try get the quest done in the time it took him to corpse run.... Reset quest and got stuck in to the trash mobs, out comes Big Will, half way through the fight the horde got back and tried ganking me during my fight with Big Will, 3rd time I put the hordie to the ground and finished my quest =) LOL

So, if you are on horde side on Arathor (EU), L your F'ing AO @ "Noobpwn" (And he wasnt that badly geared, he was wearing green helm and both his weaps had firey.... what a lame player p)

GL other WARs with your quest, its pretty straight forward (Island is 68,49)

1.&nbsp Go to Ratchet in the Barrens.&nbsp There's a little road that runs down the coast (south).&nbsp You'll soon come to a camp of low level dudes.&nbsp Follow past the big boat in the dock.&nbsp After that, swim out to the island (east).

2.&nbsp You'll see a group of people in bleachers.&nbsp No one will attack you.&nbsp Just go into the little area w/ the guy you need to talk to.&nbsp Get the quest and come out.

3.&nbsp You'll be attacked by level 26 and 27 people consecutively (I think there were 5).&nbsp If you're level 30, it may be a little tough.

4.&nbsp After you kill them all, a guy will appear.&nbsp He won't attack you so you can heal up.&nbsp He's level 33 (NOT elite).&nbsp Kill him and you're done.

I did it level 37 no problem.&nbsp Level 30 I could see having some difficulty.&nbsp I'd wait until 32 just to be sure.&nbsp The rewards were some XP and a bunch of typical garbage.&nbsp Some axe that you can sell to merchant for a decent coin but nothing special.

I completed the quest at 31 by myself. You have to fight about 7 guys consequetively, and the next guy usually comes out when the guy before him is down to 2-3 more hits.

I used combat stance, and a two handed weapon(a 27 dps weapon). before I started I buffed myself with a strength scroll. What worked for me was to fight the mobs as I normally would(using rend, heroic strike and overpower) and then when the next mob comes out use cleave to kill the first guy, and get a hit on the next one. Wash, rinse, repeat.

When the last guy is dead Big Will came out and just waited for me to start the fight. So I healed and used an agility buff scroll on myself and fought him as I would anyone else. I killed him easily.

For whomeever asked above Beserker stance gives you +3% chance to crit, and you take 10% more damage from enemies.

Did it at 30. Really easy. Just demo shout the lowbies, follow them a bit away from the fray, kill, charge back into the fray. When big will comes, demo shout, thunder clap, and rend. Grind him down. Popped my gift of the naaru but a healing potion would work as well.

Demoralizing shout advice is great, as somebody else already said, but it is great. Demo shout, and bandage when you need to. Big Will is a pushover, anybody could do this quest at level 30 unless they suck at playing warriors.

You are not attacked by all of the "challengers" at once, they take turns 1v1, then there is a 2v1, in which you can demo shout and bandage. Big Will comes out, and does not attack you until you attack him, giving you time to heal once again.

Sunder armor does work very nicely on him, but i dont think its entirely necessary. Rend, Heroic Strike...thats about all you should need...

Coords above are almost correct,

go to 64.48, then swim east.

for people with no coords,

It is the little Island directly south east of ratchet. Pretty easy to find!

Good Luck!

What i found out is you only get a certaine ammout of time before another person jumps in and starts attacking you. If you kill the first one fast enough it'll be a 1 on 1 the whole time. Big guy was a joke. My life didnt go below half throughout the fight, and that was at lvl 30. So take the advice of the demo, and de shouts and you should do fine. I recomend useing a shield too :D

Here it is. Accept the quest and move to the ring. Step on the ring and keep running. Near the shore there is a mountain. Just stay there until you see the mobs appear. Use your ranged weapon and you will draw one or two at a time. Kill them and eat. You have tons of time. They don't need to be feared unless you are standing in the ring (duh). If you do it this way you can pull them when you are ready. I finished it in like 2 minutes.

Dual weild Jade Serpentblades with fiery and icy, no pots, no buffs, use demoralizing shout, intimidating shout if you get low on health and bandage/pot.

Dont worry about fatigue, stick to coast (by the way, the barrens guards do NOT attack you) and you'll come to a shallow stretch of water (light blue opposed to dark blue water on the minimap) leading to Fray Island.

Worked like a charm at lvl 30. Fury skilled warrior with a sword/dagger combo. Just used Demoralising Shout a lot to make the first 7 guys run away (they do in this quest). After you kill the last one Big Will appears and you get enough time to heal and buff before you fight him. I charged Big Will, hit Retaliation and killed him very quickly.

All in all I did it in under 6 minutes.

If you FAIL the quest, you have to ABANDON it from your questlog in order to take it again.
