Description

The fabled city of Xavian lies nestled deep within eastern Ashenvale, and tales of its ancient knowledge are well known among the learned. It is said that the waters of Xavian hold vast magical powers.

I would have a sample of those waters, from their source.

Take this flask and go to Xavian. Gather water from the bottom of its highest waterfall, and return to me. And use care as you move through that ancient city--satyrs now hold the ruins and do not like mages prying into their affairs.

im not a mage nor do i ever intend to be one. I just helped someone that didnt know where xavian was, so went to the southern waterfall because I didnt realize there was two. Since its right on Xavian border I thought it was it but since it didnt work, I assumed it was another and decided to check here for coords, when I alt+tabbed back in she had already found the right one. So, yes its easy to find, but some people leaving posts on here are jerks for calling people idiots. granted, I didnt have th quest to look at, but its easy to mistake 2 waterfalls when theyre both at xavian. STFU for thinking you're better than someone else because you found it 2 minutes faster. If you get your self esteem from something so trivial, please quit WoW and spend the money on therapy instead.

The coordinates are 75, 41.
It's at the very north peek of the river.

Just be sure when you are under the waterfall that you go in all the way, till you hit the wall. There it will let you collect.

Xavian 76.41

Follow the river north, a bit east, of Splintertree Post, just northwest of Satrynaar. Two rivers meet - follow them north till you hit the waterfall. Try not to go too far east into Satrynaar or you may get mobbed. Just take the river - only a few level 25 swamp beasts. Found a liferoot on the way for you herbalists.

Well i did this quest a min ago. The easiest way is to fly to splintertree post, take the road north untill you reach a bridge (maybe a minute away) go down to the water. Then you just swim north untill you see a water fall, stand under it and use your bottle, there you go )

Easy type quest.&nbsp Soloed as a lvl 26 Mage, instead of going thru forest, started swimming at the bridge all the way to the falls.&nbsp Only had to come up to get more manna, and only had to fight 3-4 26 lvl underwater beasts.&nbsp Swam right to the falls, didn't even get out of the water, just filled the vile while in the water.&nbsp You can teleport out to Orgimmar,or swim back the way you came (and yes I did say teleport, mages can get teleportation at level 22 or just above, you do not have to wait till lvl 40, just go to a portal trainer).&nbsp Coordinates are exactly 75,41.

I found the highest waterfall and thought I couldn't do anything...and then I realized you have to stnad in the waterfall and USE the quest item you were given...I felt dumb after an hour of right-clicking waterfalls.

Ok this one was really fairly easy. If you leave the Splintertree Post and follow the left river bank past the first waterfall on Farfellon you will be in Xavian. Drop into the lake there and follow it straight back and stand completely under the falls. Right click the flask and the quest is done.

All you have to do is go to 76,42 and then right click the vial.&nbsp Filled up, quest done.

Ok, just to clarify, the waterfall you need is north of the large lake and your area indicator will read "xavian".
I found this out after spending half an hour in the much more obvious farenfell river waterfalls on the west fork of the river. (silly me)

There is 2 waterfalls, the one you collect the sample from is north of that lake, not south. Also you basicially need to be showering in the waterfall to be able to get the sample.

76,41 are the exact co ords

Mages at this level should have mana sheild, if u run into trouble on ur way, just mana shield and blink.

Avoid elementals in the water and make sure u go to the 2nd waterfall and stand directly under the shower to use your flask.

Lvl 26 Quest and lvl 26 mobs easy peasy.&nbsp Fly to splintertree post go east to river, swim north up it and keep on going killing mobs to the little valley at the top swim in to the rocks and click on flask. teleport back to ogrimmar. Done

you can just stand in the water at the bottom of the water fall..76.41 and click on the container in your inventory to use it

Just did it and it was a piece of cake. I swam from the bridge and only had to kill some weird bark rippers or something. I got confused and tried to get to the waterfall a different way and ended up having to run from a lvl 32, but he can't getcha in the water! Watch out for them Satyrs!

Just go to the bottom of the waterfall and use the flask there, it will fill up and your done.
