Kill Tazan and bring his Satchel to Therzok in the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar.

	Tazan's Satchel

Description

The Warchief is too subtle in his methods. He is cautious to unleash the might of the Horde. Once we were stronger, mighty conquerors all. That pride we must regain, and the Shattered Hand will do so.

We build strength from the shadows and strike at the exposed, secretly laying our enemies low. A task you must complete for me, to prove your worth.

The troll Tazan trades with the pirates near Ratchet. He has information I must have. Kill him and bring me his satchel.

He's not far south of Ratchet, a little north of the boat. There's a path going up a hill with fence and a couple brigands. He walks up and down this path between the upper and lower camps. Your best bet is to attack him at the bottom of the hill, where there are no guards. I took him down at lvl 10, no prob.

he does seem to have a patrol route.

about half way up the hill. no other mobs near by
just wait patiently and he'll arrive :)

as someone said before if you dont have co-ords

head past the inn in ratchet up to the merchent bay and there is a hill with some wooden posts. (just past the very 1st camp before the ship)

cant miss it. just wait and he'll show up

By the way, Gamon is in the inn at Orgrimmar, not Ratchet.&nbsp I wasted about 10 minutes without this knowledge.

Sometimes he takes his time getting back to the path going uphill, so try to keep an eye on him. I got it at 11.
I died a few times trying to kill the lvl 14's on the upper part. He finally walked back down. Then I asked a lvl 52 that happened to be right there & he killed a few mobs in the way & then Tazan for me :)

Pickpocketing Gamon is as easy as it gets. Open the pouch with the key, go turn it in & get your dagger.

The dagger itself isn't that great - only +2 agil, 2spd.
You can buy one from weapon merchant(11 req) for ~23s that has about 1 more dps & 1.5spd.
I imagine you can buy a green one on AH cheaply that has similar/better stats..

Tazan is lvl 13 and he is one of the first you see after leaving Ratchet heading towards the pirates.

He is in Merchant coast(where the Pirates are) and he wonders so you have to look around. he is usally found by the ship on shore. Hope you find him and get quest done:)

He is patrolling between the camps/tents. eventually you'll see him at the first one to the left as you go into the pirate place.

Tazan is on the hill to the right patrolling. Just kill a mob at the bottom of the hill and wait for him if you are below level 12.

Also, for the follow up quest the mob is in the inn in Orgrimmar. No need to run off back to Ratchet. Just in case, because lightheaded seems to show this quest's comments for the follow up...

maybe it hase changed since a few patches but when i killed him he was lvl 13 and he was moving around both on the hill ass beneath it.... was searching @ 62,44 for 30 min while i found that out :P

yes, i also found him moving from the lower camp to the upper camp.&nbsp He was also a troll and not human.

Okay the cords are 62,45 he spawns and walks around a tree here.

For the people that dont have cords, I suggest you get them. However, I will tell you how to get there.

While at rachet go to the coast. Run along the Mountain going south on map. You will come to a spot where you can then go on shore. There are pirates walking around here. Once there you run a lil ways in you will see a boat. Stop. Look to the right you will see a walkway on the mountain. There is a fence here also. Run up it, you will see a big tree there this is where Tazan spawns and walks around.

He will also walk down the mountain via the fenced walkway, and walk near the ship you first seen.

Tazan is on merchant coast just south of razor heading towards northwatch. go down the coast until you see the pirate ship on the beach and he spawns in the camp right before the ship. hes a troll and looks just like the other pirates so keep an eye out

I did the quest and had the sactchel, but when I tried to turn it in even thow he had a yellow "?" above his head, the "Complete" button would not light.

I abandoned the quest and will go kill Tazan again tomorrow...
Was I sapose to pick pocketed the key?
Is this quest bugged?

Don't really recommend doing this quest in a party with another Rogue. He only drops one pouch at a time.
