After u kill final boss just walk into the room behind him (room with treasures).
Click on disks - smth like presentation will start. When spirit is done with his presentation, come closer and talk to him.
U'll have lots of windows chating to him. Finally, when u finish talking, turn around and come back to disks. Activate them again.
Bongo! Quest is done! Gz!

He also says you can click the discs again to make a copy. Do so and you will get a quest to go to TB and talk to "one of the sages". I am yet to find them. Will be back with more info as soon as I find the bastards. :)

Ah, found it. "Sage Truthseeker" is the one to talk to. 34,47 or at the western bridge building going to spirit rise. Got 5250 xp just to bring it back. Got another followup, just bring it to Bena Winterhoof, the alch trainer (middle rise, 46,33). Sage Truthseeker then has a grey ! above his head to me(lvl 44) if you go back. Not sure what quest he gives after this.

Platinum Disc Quest Information:

I read the information here and on a couple of other web sites prior to doing this quest and all the information I gathered was fuzzy at best. I have been playing this game for a long time and never completed this quest until today, with my level 45 troll priest. I will not go into the strategy that our group used to kill the final boss in there, you can read all about it here and on other sites. My goal here is to explain how to complete this quest as best I can, so that you go in there with a pretty clear idea of what you need to do to get it done.

After you kill the final boss in Uldaman, all the minions collapse and a door opens into an isolated chamber. First of all, do not forget to loot the gem from the boss if you have that quest, which has nothing to do with this platinum disc quest. When you come into the chamber you will see an alter, of sorts, with a gear symbol for your mouse icon. Click it and a quest comes up. Accept the quest.

Do not leave the chamber, you are not done.

When you do this, a stone golem ghost appears to your left. Go over and speak with him. He will have some dialog text and a string of text at the bottom with an icon, letting you know that there is more to read. Click it. Again, there is more text and another string of text at the bottom with an icon. Click it. This is going to go on for a long time. I did not count how many times you have to keep doing this, but I would say at least 10 times maybe more. You will know when your done because on your screen you will get a "complete" message.

Do not leave the chamber, you are not done.

All this was telling you to do, was to go back to the alter to retrieve the miniature platinum discs. Go back to the alter with the gear symbol and click it. There is another quest text and you click "accept". You will now have the miniature discs in your inventory.

Do not leave the chamber, you are not done.

You will notice that the alter still has a gear symbol on it. Click it. Quest text appears and choose "accept". Read it and make sure it tells you to take the discs to an NPC.

Now, you are done, as far as the chamber and Uldaman are concerned.

This final quest tells you to visit an NPC in Thunderbluff (if you are Horde). When you speak with the sage in Thunderbluff the quest is complete, but he will direct you to the NPC with your reward. After you speak with that NPC you are completely done with the quest.

The sage will also tell you he needs more time to study the discs and there is probably more to the story, but that will come later.

The most common mistakes made in not getting this quest completed are in leaving that chamber before you do all the things I have mentioned here in my explaination. My explaination may not be exact, but I think it will provide you with the information you need to help you get this one done.

I have posted the complete line of quests from here to the end rewards for both Alliance and Horde. It is a long description but I hope it will solve some confusion as you can start this quest at level 40 but to complete the very end quests you have to be level 45. The quest line will send you to Tanaris and mingle you with level 50 elites towards the end. Here are the links: http://classicdb.ch/?quest=2964  for Alliance and http://classicdb.ch/?quest=2968 for the Horde to follow. The end rewards are mail and plate boots for the horde and a wand and throwing weapon for the Alliance. There is great XP along the way and most of it is just chatting NPCs in Ironforge and Thunderbluff. Good luck!

Its a q after u killed the final boss. Once u receive the platinum discs u have to turn and klick on the big "stoneghost" in the same room. Then he is explaining all kinds of stuff and gives u the platinum discs. Turn back to the stone where u picked up the q and deliver the discs: then the q is completed en u will receive 4200 XP. Thats all.

Lesson: Try to get this quest b/4 going in if at all possible and warn your friends too.
So where does one GET this quest from in the first place? Is the quest given inside Uldaman? if so, by whom? The information gathered isn't very clear on this. Does it have anything to do with The Watcher of Norgammon?

Epic battle vs big ugly, and after death, party members got into argument about who should roll on items dropped. I clicked on the plat discs and accepted quest in room after boss, but because grumpy leader disbanded group, I was gated out of room. PLEASE tell me the stone watcher was not the image that appeared in corner of Plat disc room, was tough enough to get there.

Any aid on where stone watcher might be would be grand.
