Description

Touching the Discs of Norgannon once again makes your hand tingle. This time, however, a strange grinding noise is heard from inside the discs.

Your backpack suddenly becomes heavier than it was before. Inside, you discover a miniature version of the discs!

No doubt, an item of this sort would be invaluable for someone interested in the ancient history of Azeroth. The Explorers' League in Ironforge is such a group, known throughout the Alliance; perhaps they can make good use of it.

I got 5250 XP for completing this quest at level 44. I also got a "gretly increased" reputation with Ironforge.

You can do both quests when you defeat the final boss. Click the discs, accept the quest and then go talk to an NPC that spawns in the room. He will tell you a lot of stuff, read through it all and then go back to the disc. You will end up with a small version of the discs you need to take back to a guy in the Hall of Explorers that will then tell you to get your reward from the vault administrator of the IF bank.

I was highly frustrated when I finally got my PuG to clear to the end as a level 39 priest and it would not let me accept this quest as I was too level, especially considering the fact that the last boss is level 40 now.

i didn't fully read the quest text (or the comments here) so i used the discs the first time and talked to the guy but neglected to use the discs again before porting everyone to IF. i reread it and was like crap. this is after everyone left of course. luckily i was the group leader and when i went back to the instance, it didn't reset. the obsidion sentinal respawned but i managed to sneak around him. though i died twice before successfully getting back to the discs managing to only aggro one dwarf. i'm level 48 mage at this time so i was able to kill him.

moral: MAKE SURE TO USE THE DISCS AGAIN AFTER TALKING TO GUY BEFORE LEAVING

after you get your reward you go back to the guy in the explorers league and he gives the dics back to you .you have to take the new discs to the gate sof uldum in tanaris.

u do NOT have to be level 45 to get or turn in this quest i got and returned it at lvl 42 but the boss is incredibly hard for a group of 42-45s so u should bring along a higher lvl for this quest

After activating the discs a second time, take these to Thunderbluff and give the discs to "Sage Truthseeker"
