An'Alleum Power Stone (8)

Description

A while ago, I had an incident with the Shadowforge Dwarves. They brought me to Angor Fortress to study two types of strange stones from Uldaman. I discovered that the stones were sustained, stable power sources if treated correctly. It's amazing the things one can find in that old dig site!

Anyway, after I told them the secret of the stones they kicked me out of Angor Fortress and began digging for more in Uldaman.

I want those stones for myself! Bring me both types and I'll pay you plenty!

Even though this is listed as a dungeon quest you don't actually need to go into Uldaman to complete it.

Just bash away at the dwarves outside the entrance and you'll collect all the power stones in no time.

Hey,

As a lvl 42 Druid, this quest is solo'able. Just kill the guys outside at 45,14 (ish) at the digsite.

The drop rate isn't great but I was still earning xp on the 36 elites at lvl 42.

I got 2800xp for handing it in (Rigglefuzz at 42,53) plus a rep gain of 120 with Booty Bay and a 750 rep loss with the Bloodsail Buccaneers.

Wasn't a hard quest, no use complaining about it, I just happened to complete it over the times I did Uldaman.

Oddly, you don't even have to go inside to get these, they will drop off any dwarf right outside.
That is much easier and much safer.

It was an easy quest I found it simple to stay outside you get more of the power stones there anyway. I was a lvl 41 almost 42 when I did it. But as for location here is were I have it mapped I hope you find it helpful. Rigglefuz is between Valley of Fangs and Agmond's End right between the two.

All of the mobs outside of Uldaman are no longer elite which makes this quest quite a bit easier then before. Happy hunting!

I've had 8/8 & 7/8 stones for weeks - despite 2 Uldaman runs and a few "drive by" shootings whenever I went to Badlands. Last night I was determined to finish it so I killed *31* surveyors in a row out the front of Uldaman. Nothing.

Someone (probably sick of my swearing) suggested I abandon the quest and get it again from Rigglefuzz. I did and the very next Surveyor dropped my last needed Dentrium stone!

So if the stones stop dropping, drop the quest and visit Rigglefuzz again.

I'm level 41, and got 3500XP.

For those of you who don't kno the lower u r in lvl the higher XP you get when u turn in any quest...the higher u r (as long as still green and not gray)you get rewarded with more money and less XP... BTW I hated uldaman

If you are trying to get this Q on your own..
Then stay Outside Uldaman And kill them..
Drop = like 40 %, so it should not be that hard to kill them.&nbsp
@ the Mages Put on your fireward, and try to avoid the miners.
XP = 3550&nbsp @ lvl 37

As a level 40 Hunter, completed with no problem. 600+ xp per kill rested plus quest turn in.&nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp &nbsp Kill Shadowforge Diggers and Ruffians for the power stones. They are located right outside of the Uldaman instance entrance in the caves.

Surveyors work too. (T-loc around 53,61)

Hehe i soloed this with my 38 rogue. Killing the elites outside uldaman filled 45% of my experience bar. Then ding'd when i turned in the quest with 3500exp reward. It isnt easy to do without resources. I used up all my rogue stuff and food in the process.
A lvl 39 warlock was able to solo it too. So its not completely hard at all.

The elites dropped alot of silk too. Not totaly a worthless quest afterall.

I got 3500 exp at 40.&nbsp It took me no time at all to collect all the stuff for this quest.&nbsp In fact, I did it with four others just killing time (and mobs) outside Uldamann waiting for the fifth on our party to arrive.&nbsp The drop rate inside the cave is horrible, so just kill all the little guys outside the cave in the digs immediately outside the cave entrance.

Rigglefuzz is at 44,53

I can't find Rigglefuzz...bit embarrassing...got the quest and forgot where to turn it it lmfao.

I had no trouble collecting power stones...in fact it was easy.&nbsp You just have to kill guys outside of instance, just takes some time like 20 min tops.

I don't know what everyone's complaining about. I've gotten about a 2/5 drop rate just killing the ones outside the instance, and it's been no sweat. I'm still getting experience at level 44 from some of these things, and to top it off, the ones that don't drop a stone drop Mageweave.

Lvl 41 Feral Druid. I got a total of 21,476 (rested) XP from this quest (Killing and end quest XP) Yes, it takes a little while but I didn't die once. They are easy to pull off one by one. Just stay outside of Uldaman.

I was trying to clean up some old quests, so I figured I'd do this rather than abandon it.&nbsp As others have said - the drop rate is low, and at my level I got no xp at all from the kills.&nbsp After wasting a good hour or so, I turned the quest in for a whopping 350 xp.&nbsp Not a lot of exciting loot either. Had I known it was this 'cheap' I would not have wasted my time!

sure this quest takes a while and it sucks but the xp (especially while rested) is always a bonus.&nbsp Can't have everything very easy in the game.

I pretty much camped the dwarves outside of uldaman and some inside.&nbsp you'll get them eventually

If you've already got the stones, great -- otherwise, don't bother.&nbsp At 44th I got no ep for killing the dwarves outside, it was a pain to collect all 16, and it's ganksville out there.&nbsp Time better spent elsewhere. 1400 ep when I turned it in.

i got 1 stone on my own, then a rogue and pally invited me to group and we went in, neither of them had the quest so i was getting either one of the shards 4/5 guys we killed, i had to leave right when i had one left, then now that i am back i cant get my last stone! grrrr

I've been soloing the dwarves outside of Uldaman as a lvl44 warrior. In three hours (had to wait for respawns) I collected all Dentrium and 2 An'Alleum. The only plus side is they drop Mageweave of which I collected 54 pieces.

The rewards are crap for me and it may not result in a lot of XP, but I'll be able to bandage myself for a long while...
