Hinott's Assistance

Travel to Tarren Mill in Hillsbrad Foothills and deliver the Sample of Zanzil's Mixture to Serge Hinott.

To get to Tarren Mill, take the Zeppelin to the Undercity and follow the road south through Silverpine and towards Hillsbrad. Follow the signs!

Description

Take a sample of the mixture to Serge Hinott in Tarren Mill.

If anyone can cure you, it's Serge. Live long enough and Serge will show you the ways of poison creation and use.

TryingtoWin a coupla posts down is spot on - this poison makes it almost impossible for you to stealth.

I was teaming with another rogue who had most of this done when we went after the guy on top of the tower. We killed him, got the head, picked the box and were leaving when I tried to do one of the parts I still needed, picking the guy's pocket for the tower key.

I couldn't get near him without him seeing me until I went back to Crossroads and got that poison cured. Once the effect was gone I could stealth up to the guy outside the tower and pick his pocket on the first try.

I was 22 when I did this, with 4 points in Master of Deception, so I was even levels with the guy outside the tower. This tells me the poison was the problem.

You can use the anti-venom, but you still NEED to complete the quests in order to learn how to make and use poisons.

Soloed this at 22, wouldn't recomend doing it solo below 22, I had a hard time and was very well geared for this level, also I have enchanting so that's some extra stats.

Well people allready explained what to do, just fire 2 rockets and salute the elite by the tree near tower , complete the quest, go kill everything in the tower (some of them are lvl 25 so its a hard fight), then kill the lvl 23 elite on top of tower (and loot the chest), did that with one potion and one gouge-bandage combo.

then go pick pocket of the dude at the door to the tower. One hint: if you're lvl 22, he will see you before you can pick him, so use vanish and pick him with ease.

For the guy at the top when I got up there he was already dead and so I oppened the box and left.&nbsp But I forgot to steal the key and now I can't sneak up behind the guy.

I have completed quest Mission: Possible But Not Probable(didnt returned it yet) and I got poison and then I logout. I came back tommorrow and I didn't have poison. Then I returned this quest and didnt get anymore quests. What should I do?

Is there a way to get zanzils mixture again as I accidently destroyed it during FPS lagg instead of item next to it. So can I get it back at all and how?

I just found myself a lvl 24 shaman that was bored and we whooped up on everything around!

if you are having trouble doing that....just ask if anyone is bored in the general chat window...

chances are you will get help!

k im running to the place to hand in the quest in hilsbrad the first quest and im at some little village with farms and a big fortress where do i go its nt the darlan cam its onother one at the fork in the road to keep goign or turn left plz help i dont know where to go.

the best i can tell is the touch of zanzil lowered my spirit. that's about it. i died (generic death, something jumped me) and it was gone. it's not imperitive to find the cure, but the xp is nice.

So, what exactly was that "Touch of Zanzil"? After I did the tower part of this quest I had an icon up that said "Poison: Touch of Zanzil" and 7 days as the duration. But I couldn't figure out if it had an effect, because no effect was listed. Then, I ended up logging for the night and went to Hillsbrad the next day. By this time the "Touch of Zanzil" icon was gone (not seven days had passed, less than one). When Hinott gave me the cure mixture, I went ahead and drank it just to see if anything funny or useful would happen but nothing did. Is this whole "Touch of Zanzil" business just an elaborate prank?

Woah, i just asked a Druid to cure my poison, does it matter? Do I have to keep the poison to get advanced poisons, im a lvl 26.

The poison does more then just kill you in 7 days, it also takes away 15 agility... thats bad for rogues o_o...
