Sprinkle in Gadgetzan wants you to collect a Violet Tragan and return it to her.

Description

When I was a kid, my sister used to do all the cooking. It was horrible! I could barely stomach some of her concoctions -- until I found what I like to call my "secret" ingredient! Add it to anything, and... WOW! It tastes great!

What is it, you ask? It's a mushroom called the Violet Tragan. If you want me to help you turn this horrid-tasting brew into something edible, head to the Hinterlands, and look for a small lake there.

Oh, and remember, the Violet Tragan can only be found underwater.

Follow these steps and it takes about 20-30 min.
1. Set hearth to Gadgetzan.
2. Go to the hinterlands.
3. Go to the bottem of valorwind lake. (40,60)
4. Get your mushrom. DO NOT EAT!
5. Hearth back and complete the quest!
SO SIMPLE! And its not that boring either!

yes, u can pick another...just to clarify,u can only have one mushroom at a time. However, if u eat one u can pick up another one immediatly.

Note:The green effect the mushroom buff has on ur skin makes ur mount look really cool :)

Valorwind Lake, a bit NW of the Altar of Zul, is where you'll find the Violet Tragars (or however it's spelled).&nbsp It's more or less in the center of the map (slightly west of dead center, but thereabouts).

I am experiencing the same problem doing this quest with my alt right now.&nbsp She has NO Violet Tragans in bags or bank, has quest for the item, but after clicking 40+ of these things the loot box is empty.&nbsp WTG Blizz!&nbsp If anyone else experiences this lovely time waster open a ticket.&nbsp I'm just swimming the lake on Garona server waiting for it to be fixed so I don't have to come back.

Found mushroom in Hinterlands 41,59. If you eat, get a debuff "Poison Mushroom", but I didn't take any damage or notice any effect. Rewards at the end are Noggenfogger elixirs.

If you got nothing from the mushroom you probably searched one before and already have one in your inventory.. so look in your inventory if you search it and nothing comes out of it.

When I had Track Herb on It showed me where in the water the violet tragen was.
Turned off Track Herb it disappeared.
Turned it back on and it was back.

I did it at 46. with a shaman it was cast waterbreathing and dive. The only annoying thing was the number of mobs I avoided. Much easier than getting the gland
