A Dark Threat Looms

Chief Engineer Hinderweir wants you to swim down to the base of the dam, locate the powder keg and stir in the Disarming Mixture to prevent an explosion.

Description

Earlier today I spotted some Dark Iron Insurgents swimming toward the Dam with a large keg. No Mountaineers were on hand to stop them! I'm afraid they've planted the Seaforium at the base of the Dam and it could blow at any minute! Let me combine all these ingredients into the Disarming Mixture. There we go.

Now I need you to take this mixture and stir it into the keg before it's too late! Hurry!

One way to find the barrel without coordinates:
1. Run along the dam to the east.&nbsp
2. Bring up your world map.
3. When you get to the "U" in Stonewrought Dam, jump in and swim down.&nbsp
4. The barrel is very small and hard to see, but it's there in the corner.&nbsp

Located around 51, 14 at the bottom of the dam. It's a small brown keg that can be hard to see, I had to swim around several times before I noticed it. It's slightly hidden in a corner.

It is a small keg located near the center of the dam, at the bottom of the Loch against the dam wall. I had to look twice to find this, it is easily over looked. Just swim against the wall at the floor and scroll over the ground.

Soon as you get the quest, turn around and jump off the edge of the dam. Swim eastwardly till you spot the barrel. Mix it, no problem.

The only possible problem you might have is that there are a ton of those stupid frenzy's around and they will try and tag you. Best plan is to clear the area real quick, because the last thing you want to do is get 90% done with the barrel, get interrupted, fight, then stop mid battle and swim for air.

The keg in question is much, much easier to find now. Just walk east from the quest giver along the top of the dam until you see the question mark on your mini map, then dive in and snag it.

How do you know youve found the barrel ? Ive found a barrel but I cant do anything with it.

There's another keg at 56,13 (left hand side of the ramp, next to the Iron Dwarves). I don't know if this one works as well since I already defused the one at 51,14. If anyone wants to try it out..

Just solo'd the whole thing as a lvl 18 hunter with a wolf. Didn't have much luck with the bear or boar so I got the wolf out of the stables. What was almost impossable with the other 2 was nearly (nearly...lol) simple with the wolf....)

Ok the Keg, is at the foot of the damn. Its more to the East side, unless spawn location is random. It can be hard to locate if everyone is doing the quest atm. Just be patient it will respawn. Best thing to do is probably camp a visible location and see if a keg spawns. Thats your target.
