Tabetha's Task

Speak with Tabetha in Dustwallow Marsh.

Description

Rumor is that Tabetha, a mage colleague who lives deep in Dustwallow Marsh, has a bone to pick with a certain sand troll in Zul'Farrak. If you speak with Tabetha she can tell you more.

And bring some friends with you, <name>. If Tabetha has you go to Zul'Farrak then you're not going to want to go alone.

You will find Tabetha's cottage west of Theramore, and just north of the Stonemaul Ruin.

This quest is given by all mage trainers. It is not required to start Tiara of the Deep, it is only there to point players in the direction of the quest NPC, so that they can find and accept Tiara of the Deep.

It's north of the "E" in Stonemaul.&nbsp On the map you'll see a large island just above Stonemaul in this shape >

It's in the inside bend of the island..best I can describe it.&nbsp You'll be looking for a hut with a dock.

I've found the hut OK, but Tabetha doesn't want to give me any quests. She doesn't show up on my minimap as a 'quest complete' marker, and she says nothing important - just a couple of generic lines about the swamp. I've still got this quest in my log, as I'd gone straight to her from Bink. Any ideas?

I'm a lvl 44 rogue, if that's any help.

EDIT - Nevermind, after I finished typing this message out and alt-tabbed back to the game, the question mark was suddenly above her head, bright and shiny. Just one of those wierd things, I guess.

This quest is acquired by Bink, a mage trainer in Ironforge. Tabetha's cottage is located at 46,57 in Dustwallow Marsh. If you're semi-familiar with the area, the fastest way to get there is to swim like you're going to Onyxia's Lair.

I did not have to complete or get this quest in order to acquire "Tiara of the Deep" so I'm not so sure they are part of a series like it says.

Horde doesn't have this quest. We just go directly to Tabetha for Tiara of the Deep.
