The Vile Priestess Hexx spawns at the Altar where Elder Torntusk is laying. The co-ords are are 59, 77. It is the same Altar that you create the Mallet of Zul Farrak. Note the cage for sharpbeak is not at this altar, you come to the altar first, and fight her for Hexx's Key.

If you show up and she is not there, someone has killed her before you, just wait and she will re-spawn in about 5-10 mins.

I did this solo and didn't have to touch any guards around the arena. She does polymorph you, and curse you, but as a druid I HoTed myself then DoTed her then went feral to avoid her polymorphing me. She did heal herself halfway through the first health bar. At this point I HoTed myself again and repeated the same process.

Note, she does run away when she is at about 10% health, just like the other trolls in the area... so if you don't get her fast you might have a few extra mobs to fight.

Once you get the key, you go get sharp beak by exiting the arena and staying on the top level of the temple and going through the cave with two lvl 50 guards by 53, 66.

Note there are no guards or mobs in with sharpbeak, and I was able to stealth past the guards and open his cage with no issue.

PS. you will want to stay for a few moments for sharp beak to 'chirps a goodbye to...' because you get to see something kinda cute. ;)

It doesn't say so specifically in the quest, but you have to return to the quest-giver in aerie peak to claim the reward.&nbsp Somewhat obvious, but perhaps not.

First go to 59,77 and kill the priest to get the drop that will open the cage.&nbsp We didn't have to take out the guards.&nbsp Then make your way to the cave at 56,68.&nbsp Once on the other side of the cave, you are home free and done fighting.&nbsp Open the cage and turn the quest in at Gryphon Master Talonaxe in Aerie Peek.&nbsp If you are this far into the game and don't have Cosmos, by all means get it!&nbsp It makes it so much easier and enjoyable to play.&nbsp It is very easy to install and easy to use.

Blizzard must have changed the program because now the parents come and Sharpbeak happily flies away with them... much better ending than what I read on here previously.

One of the early posts by Darkchild describes how to find the priestess, but here�s my recollection:

This troll place Jintha�Alor is built around a winding path that goes up some stairs, swings left, then up some more stairs, swings right, then more stairs and so on in that vein. Whether you hack your way through or go the suicide run (which I�ve never tried lol), keep going till the stairs and winding path stop. This will happen at the top of the final staircase and you�ll come to a T-intersection i.e. path splits left and right. Off to the right in the distance you�ll see a cave � Sharpbeak is at the end of this cave, but the priestess isn�t, you have to turn left and follow that path for half a minute to get to the priestess. She�s in the bottom of a pit/ amphitheatre and yes there is a chance you�ll get adds when you engage her.

Side note: There�s some dude on top of the altar near the priestess who only woke up when we attacked him directly. He was PvP so we flagged when we attacked him � something to watch out for if there are Horde in Jintha�Alor with you.

Side note 2: There is a cave behind the amphitheatre. This one is for the quest The Ancient Egg, not for Sharpbeak.

Once you get the priestess you return to the intersection and head into the cave you first saw from the top of the stairs. It�s guarded by two mobs but once inside we found nothing more threatening than a Ghost Mushroom spawn. You come out of the far end of the cave into an open-air ridge and Sharpbeak is in a cage as per the picture above.

A L52 Holy priest and I (L53 Arms warrior) opted to carefully chew our way through the mobs on the way up (we were only doing The Ancient Egg at the time). It was doable.

This quest awards 10600 XP at lvl 51

The entrance to the cave where Sharpbeak is held is at coordinates 57.68

Not the easiest thing to do but it is possible. First i soloed the mobs on top of the Alter of Zul to get the sacred mallet. Just MC Qiaga and let the other mob take it low, then break MC and kill it. Take off your gear and run into jintha alor, die and ghost run until you are at the alter. Rez and use the sacred mallet. Next you can rez off to the left(if you are facing the cave) and not aggro. there is a troll to your left if you face the alter from this point. MC him and run him into the 50 elite and Hexx, he should die and then you will. Run and rez again same spot, put your gear on, buff up, MC Hexx and let the 50 elite beat up on her, also use Hexx's shadow word pain on the 50 elite on the other side of the alter. 2 lv 50 elites should be attacking Hexx, when she is low...around 5%....break MC and throw shadow word pain on her, shield yourself as the 2 other elites will run at you, fear them and chase Hexx using more shadow word pains to give her the full 5 stack of shadow vulnerabilty, she should die before the fear wears off, run and loot her. At this point I ran into the cave behind the alter to do the Ancient Egg quest, as soon as you can find a place out of combat unequip your gear again. Get the egg then rez/run back out and go to the cave slightly north of the alter. This is sharpbeaks cave. I soloed all 3 things as a 48 shadow priest, it takes patience but its not too hard.

Semi-easy quest if you can find a couple people to help.

Finding a couple people to help is the hardest part to this quest... Everyone in Gadget screams "LFG ZF need Mallet!" yet no one does this quest to get the mallet. Something is wrong with that *sigh*

if you are a rogue u can easy solo this quest at lvl 52... first defeat the priest 51 elite, she's not very hard, just use evasion, potion and its okay...

after get the key, u will have to go into the cave, the entrance is 57,68!

there is just 2 guards near the entrance, but after that 2, the cave is clean...

you can also solo the quest of Ancient egg, go inside the cave where the Priest Hexx is.. inside the cave there will be 3 guards elite around the Egg...

you just have to Sap 1, then Blind another, gouge the last 1.. and very fast open the Egg and get the quest item, then u just have to use Vanish! :)

did this 2 quests solo lvl 52 rogue^^

the cage loc is 53 / 67 for thous who are havin a hard time just kill the 2 guards outside the cave.. single pulls and sharp tooth is at the back in a cage.

Damn it pisses me off that she hexes me and then uses her shadow powers.
Right after I used my Insignia of the Alliance she used hex again. /cry.

rogues able to pickpocket the key from her? would be nice...

I tried to solo this mission with a level 52 rogue and found myself turned into a frog and beaten to death on the occasions I tried it. In spite of potions and evasion I was killed quite easily by this 51st level troll. Perhaps a great how to guide would be all the information regarding the 52nd level rogue who managed to succeed where I failed, I would like to know his armor class, agility and stamina stats as well as whatever buffs or other magical protections he used in this quests completion.

Once you get the key off the priestess, where is the cage?

Fighting Hexx can be annoying, but i soloed as a 47 rogue by continually tapping kick as i came out of frogdom and fighting for a few seconds before i fought again.... rinse and repeat.

Sharpbeak is located all the way inside Jintha'Alor

Jintha'Alor is extremely hard (Bring a level 60) and is full of elites.

Me (lvl 54 Warrior) and a lvl 54 pally completed this quest without wiping...mobs are spread out, and easy to draw off one by one..only once had to fight more than one at a time. If you watch Hexx, you'll notice that she walks around, making it to draw her off by herself as well. All in all, didn't find it difficult at all. When going through Jintha'Alor, look for alternate routes past mobs if you want. Found quite a few corners we could jump, making the path to Sharpbeak much easier.

Sharpbeak is in the cave just north of the altar with only two guards in front of it.

After you´ve completed the quest, just return to flightmaster in Aerie Peak and collect your price.
