Note that unlike the page collection quest in Ashenvale [https://classicdb.ch/?quest=6504], these pages are not completely sequential. I spent hours on my first character trying to obtain pages like 3,5 and 7 that don't exist.

By the way, this is a reference to Ernest Hemingway's safari journal, "The Green Hills of Africa."

This is pretty straightforward. You automatically complete this quest after completing all four of the individual chapter quests. It's worth significantly (5 times) more XP than the individuals, and the reward items are pretty good.

You know, there's another reason to do this quest.&nbsp Do it in order to read the book.&nbsp From my brief look over the pages, it appears to be a parody of Hemingway's "The Green Hills of Africa".&nbsp Note the similarity between "Ernest Hemingway" (who wrote the real book) with "Hemet Nesingway" (who wrote the in-game book).

If it's even halfway readable, it's worth it to be able to read it.

As soon as I dinged 30 on my warrior, I took 2G to the AH and bought every page required for this quest. Most were under 6s each. It got me almost 30% of the level. Hard deal to beat for 2 gold.

Second best quest in the game.

By the way, you can still use this method to keep your quest log and inventory uncluttered:

1) Pick up this quest
2) Pick up one or two chapter quests and turn them in (Can't do this without having 1)
3) Abandon the main quest to free up quest and inventory space until completing other chapters

It removes your existing chapters from your inventory, and you can get them back at any time by speaking to Barnil Stonepot again.

My biggest piece of advise would be to always have at least 8 or 10 available slots in your bags when looking for these pages. They drop constantly and having to run back and forth to the bank can be a big pain. You don't have to turn in the chapters in order, so once you get one, go back to Barnil to free up some bag-space.

So it fits on one line, so you can paste this into chat to help other people figure out what they need:

this quest is breeze for work vs reward.

just do other quests in area, i did 3 other quests and i had all pages except 4, i bought those off other players, this quest took no effort, only minor cramp when it comes to space if you are missing pages across sets instead of in same sets. i got 700ish exp off each set, then close to another 5k for turning the sets in, it was a thanks.

that one post says to sell them to vendor, which is pretty dumb, selling the rewards off quest in AH + extra pages in AH is LOTS more money, on top of the exp reward. vendors dont pay crap for real things, better off selling pages/kit/potions in AH if you just want the money. why drop them to vendor for 4s if players will pay around 20s?(ponders)

just dont run around and camp mobs for pages, do other quests in zone, before you know it you'll have almost all pages or most of them, then you can buy missing ones for like 10-25s off players in area, or AH if you get real desperate. some players even give them to you for free, or you could do page trades.

you should also know that reward is 2 armor kits and 3 potions, not 1 of each, so reward is more then listing up tops says it is. it says 1 of each, but it isnt, quest gave me 2 armor kits and 3 potions.

the drop rate for all pages looked completly equal to me, i got few spares and not all i needed, but i didnt pay enough attention to that. all mobs in zone seem to drop pages, while doing quests i got pages off venture co workers, naga, bloodsail, and zanzil mobs. i would guess higher mobs have higher drop rates, but you'd have to look if you are trying certain lvl vs drop rate.

As of 2.3: 6550 exp + 1110 exp for each chapter.

On my server, the pages are exorbitantly expensive on the alliance AH - but you can buy them for a fraction of the price on the neutral auction house in Booty Bay. So be sure to check there if the prices on your faction's auction house are too high!
