Take the Runed Scroll to the northern guard tower in the Barrens.

Description

The official-looking scroll is wrapped tightly with a silvery ribbon. You're sure someone would be interested in seeing this, but who?

There is an outpost close to the Ashenvale border to the north, and if the information on this scroll involves the night elves, this would be the place to take it.

All you have to do is kill the one with the scroll - you don't have to kill the whole group.&nbsp /target Aean and that's the one you need to kill.&nbsp Just send your pet in to get aggro and wail away on her 'til she dies...&nbsp Then loot...&nbsp :D

I am not sure why, but I killed this whole group with my 40 Orc warrior. I got the scroll, but it tells me "You don't meet the requirements for this quest". I am not sure why. It is possible that I may have done this in group much earlier.. I have many toons and didn't take notes. Just thought I'd mention it. Someone else may have some insight. This post is just FYI.

Had a good fight with them.
My druid 22 with a mage 25 and shaman 26 ran into them when traveling south on the road in the south Barrens.

I ran back north and they aggroed to me (lowest level). The shaman and mage ran around them to the south, and the shaman pulled one of them and he and the mage killed that one while I got away with emergency button (Nature's Grasp) + potion + rejuvenation.
We regrouped and decided to try to take the remaining three.
The shaman engaged, dropped totems, and he and the mage took down theirs while I bear-tanked the other until they were freed up to help.

It was doubly-fun because they ganked my main on that server a few weeks ago. I ran right through them thinking they were players. I was punished for my error...

No, you can not take on the group solo at that level. I just fought them solo as a level 42 mage. I managed it, but wasn't extremely easy as they hit quite hard. Get a group of lvl 20+ people and you can do it easy enough I'd think.

before you question me yes i have read previous posts and i do know that you find them between great lift and taurajo but does anyone have a direct path in which they run along?

or do they just wonder around the whole place meaning that you have to search for ages

and where do theyturn around walking at taurajo or after and at great lift or after it.

plz reply asap thanks.

Why dose it say im not elegible for the quest when i try to read the scroll. Im a damn lvl 51 hunter. why the hell wont it let me get the quest?
