About time you woke up. We were ready to toss you into the fire with the others, but it looks like you made it.

I am Mordo, the caretaker of the crypt of Deathknell. And you are the Lich King's slave no more.

Speak with Shadow Priest Sarvis in the chapel at the base of the hill, he will tell you more of what you must know.

This quest can only be done by undead (for obvious reasons). Went back with my blood elf to do all of these quests, to get my Undercity reputation up, and could not pick this one up. Just a minor thing, but still thought I'd mention it for anyone else looking to get their Undercity rep up.

Rude Awakening appears to be exclusive to Undead characters.

I was able to complete the second and third parts of this 'chain' with no problem but was unable to even get this quest as an orc.&nbsp Rude Awakening appears to be a separate quest for Undead only while the other 2 quests are part of a chain.

Just follow the path to Deathknell and look for the yellow ? once there. Then you should receive the quest, The Mindless Ones: http://classicdb.ch/?quest=364

Since this is the Undead starting quest it is only avalible to Undead.

Complete Quest Text (from Shadow Priest Sarvis):

"Another of the walking dead, hm? Must have been quite a shock, waking up in the crypt with only the cold and Mordo to greet you...

"I see the confusion on your face. Let me try to explain our... situation... to you.

"We have been freed from the control of the Lich King by our new leader, Lady Sylvanas. The Dark Lady guides us in our war against the hated Scourge and the holdouts of humanity who dog our every step."
