Provided Item:
Evergreen Pouch

Description

Here's your Evergreen Pouch that you'll need to use the Tharlendis seeds with. You also need to have Un'Goro soil samples on hand to use as fertilizer for the seeds. Just use the pouch when you have everything; the pouch will take care of the rest.

When you have enough morrowgrain, bring them to me here on Elder Rise. Please don't bother the Arch Druid; he'll be very busy with the research, as well as the multitude of concerns he has!

You have to have completed the un'goro soil quest, https://classicdb.ch/?quest=3761 before you can get this quest. If you plan to try to make all of it there, bring lots of Un'goro Soil and a lot of time. The Evergreen Pouch that you're given has a 10 minute cooldown. My luck has been to produce Morrowgrain about 25-30% of the time, however, a few of those times have produced Morrowgrain x 5.

Repeatable turn-ins for the next quest, 'morrowgrain to (name of city) give a measly 75 rep per turn-in.

Your success at this quest is better at getting Morrowgrain depending on if you have the Herbalism skill and how high it is, the Arch Druid says so when he sends you to get the seed packet. Herbalists for the win in reputation points again.

well it's all about luck, I guess, did 8 packs now, 3 times Morrowgrain, first 1, then 2, then luckily 4.

I have Herbalism 315, so it doesn't seem to relate to that...
Runetotem mentioned that Herbalism helps, though, but I guess that's just a hint that you can find Morrowgrain in plants, too

I'm really enjoying this quest. I'm not an alchemist, and I don't like buying potions, so the extra potions and beverages are useful to me. The Cenarion Circle Cache is just the icing atop the cake of reputation I'm trying to gain with Thunder Bluff.

I get Morrowgrain about 15-20% of the time. In second is Goldthorn and for third it's Stranglekelp, Kingsblood, and Firebloom.

I am feeling ripped off. People post returns of up to 5 per use even with no Herbalism and yet my results have been completely the opposite. I have had ONE success in 10 for 1 grain. At this rate it would take 100 attempts, at 10 min a crack, plus 200 soil samples.

Deleted quest, useless quest.

lvl 315 in Herbalism, it took me 10 seeds to get 14 Morrow Grain (the 10th attempt yeilded 5) My first several attempts at cultivating yeilded Kingsblood (twice) some Gromsblood (cool, that stuff is hard to find in large quantities) some Liferoot, and a Goldthorn, then hit about 4 Morrow Grains in a row.

I turned in the 10 Morrowgrain, received the Cenarion Care Package which contained several potions (which I can make myself, but this way I don't have to), some Moonberry Juice and a Cheese of some sort.

I still have 10 seeds left to try for only 6 more Morrow Grain.

If my super 1337 Herb skilz are helping, I'd hate to see what it will be like on my next toon. Perhaps I will have to buy more seeds w/out the Herb skill.

Happy Cultivating.

This quest is repeatable, and although the reputation bonus is small, it might be possible to farm this dirty to a reputation high enough to get a kodo mount. I havent verified this yet, you might stop getting reputation at one point. Ive personally turned in 10 Morrowgrain 3 times, but my reputation went up each time.

I cultivated 2 lots of seeds and recieved 5 morrowgrain in each. Either I'm lucky or it's dependent on your skill in herbalism (mine being 315).

Sufficed to say, the reward for this quest is a Cenarion Circle Cache which is a box containing random potions, food and scrolls. Mine contained a Greater Agi Potion, Potion of Demonslaying, 5 swiss cheddar, a scroll of strength 3 and a greater mana pot.

In theory, if you recieve 5 morrowgrain from each seed then with all 20 you will recieve 10 caches, not too bad.

Actually, this is a quest that can be repeated over and over and raises you faction with TB for sure everytime you use it.

The chance to get morrowgrain is actually very large and they mostly come in 2 or 3.

Also, you can any herb from it, including rare ones like Gromsblood. It's a nice sidequest if you're questing in Un'Goro Crater and it worth to get soil even if you do not, since the potions you get can also get quite rare and are most likely useful.

Has nothing to do with Herb Skill. I am BS/Mining and I'm creating 2-4 morrowgrain a time.

Some people on thottbot have reported a low chance of getting the morrowgrain, since it is kinda random. I suggest you either gather extra dirt, or buy some drom the AH if you see it cheap.

Every time you use the Evergreen Pouch, it creates a little Evergreen seed thing in your pack. You open this and find an herb. Sometimes morrowgrain, sometimes something else.

Then you have a 10 minute cooldown on the Evergreen Pouch before you can use it again! That means to use all 20 seeds, it will take 200 minutes, and 40 dirt...

Dunno if they reduced the rate, but I've gotten 5 out of 25 go's this time around. First time on 6 characters I've had to buy more.
