I soloed this quest at 60 rogue, and for me, Only the saturated oozes and murk worms dropped the items. 3/3 and 2/2 on them. However, I killed 5 deep lurkers and they all refused to drop the item. Coincidence? I dont know. Anyways kill the alone ones, those little worms are very strong together. Hall of Serpents. Oh and on those balconies you can pull the mobs from 1 another, So use your crossbow/Gun/bow/thrown dagger! Gnomik.

Collected these while in the instance of Sunken Temple.... very easy to collect with a grp

How can Horde do this quest? The pre-req comes from Muigin who is hostile to me, so therefore I can't get this follow up. I have spoken to Gregor (friendly) but he offers no quests.

Perhaps this is only for Allaince? Since Zapper Fuel has the same objectives as this quest then it would seem logical that this is the Alliance counterpart of that quest.

They drop both inside and outside. Inside is a lil bit more calm, since there's no horde and whatnot..

The haze quest items are only collected as drops from the monsters near the serpent statues on the six platforms overlooking the pit.&nbsp

They drop off the monsters around the first boss named Atal'alarion got 5 in about 2 mins flat. Almost 75% drop rate. just to let u all know

I was doing this and some "helpful" player came along and killed Larion.&nbsp Is there a reward or more quests?&nbsp Mulgin(sp?) won't talk to me now.&nbsp I thought maybe this was a Zul Gurub prereq and I'd be most annoyed if this messed something up.

is there anything after this? I was expecting a climax or something, like a 'kill larion' quest or somethiong even more interesting...

i guess its just a lazy attempt by Blizzard to get people to go to ST. now with craptastical reward.

He's friendly to me as a Troll, but won't cough up this quest, just says something like "Hi, well met" and sends me on my way (I'm 55) - is there a prerequisite quest? I've done all the Feralas quests and all the Un'Goro except the volcano ash one.

Everyone that has posted on this quest is in a first place tie for the GREATEST FREAKING NOOB EVER! This is not a stomping ground. Only post information about the quest not whether one side can do it or not, or your 48 pally did it with one hand tied behind his back. Get a life.

I can't find any of the creatures that drop these. It says they are in temple of Atal'Hakkar but i go in there and i can't find any. Can anyone help out?

This quest is not given to horde because the pre-quests are alliance only quests.

After much searching in the Atar, i have found a instance.

Within this instance is level 47-50+ elite deep lurkers and murk worm that once killed drop the quest items. you will need a group for this as getting into the instance is hard and once your in its even harder.

Anonymous does this sometimes. Marks one quest as being for both when you obviously can't get it because its prerequisites are alliance-only. They really need to fix these.

This is a Horde quest, just different prereqs obviously. You need to find Liv Rizzlefix in Feralas and complete some Zapper quest, then you'll get the quest called Zapper Fuel. That's where the Atal'ai Haze comes in :)

What a pain of a quest to do...
I have just come back after soloing this quest...i followed another group going to the instance entrance. Upon entering the instance (by myself), there is a lone lurker walking up the stairs on the right hand side. Killed him and got my first Atal'Ai Haze.

Upon venturing down the stairs there were 5 worms (the level 45 white worms that link along with the lurker)and a Ooze that produces level 40 Oozlings.

My strategy for the Ooze was for me to make the first hit and then let my pet tank it. I let the Oozlings beat on me until i was at around 800 health then i feigned death (they ran back to my pet). My pet had everything on him but the elite Ooze died after a couple more of my arrows. i got my pet to growl at all 3 Oozlings then did a mend pet. That was another Atal'Ai Haze.

The Lurkers with his worms was very simple but time consuming. All you need to do is choose a worm, hunters mark, set a immolation trap and then use Aimed Shot straight away followed by Arcane shot then serpent sting. You might not get serpent sting off in time before they all get too close but that doesn't matter. That should kill off 1 worm. As soon as it dies, feign death and repeat until only the lurker remains then kill off the lurker for your third item.

The next two mobs you encounter along this router is another Ooze and another lurker with his worms. Repeat the above instructions and you should be fine.

Long winded quest though
