Can't forget you're going to need 1x Mithril Casing to escort her back.

I just completed this quest without coming out of stealth... Mobs aggroed him, but he didn't turn to fight them, and the mobs didn't seem to be able to hurt him (With the exception of one at the very end)

haha, yeah i was doing this quest a few minutes ago on my 3rd char that im taking to 70, and well i just then remembered that this might have also been somewhat about the movie "Congo" and forgive me for not knowing anyones names since its been a while. but "Amy"'s trainer took her to Congo in Africa since she was home sick, they plunged into a dence jungle (un'goro) and at the end they found her "home" it was over-run by man-eating apes (the apes in this quest) but in the movie Amy had a machine on her arm to read sign language and speak it into words, she would say words like "Amy go home. Amy. Home." which is used in this quest. lol sorry, but ijust wanted to say that. good movie though KILLER MONKIES AHHH!.

Quick and easy escort, no surprises, and fairly rewarding too.

remember, the un'goro gorillas pound their chest to call help... they can easily make your escort pretty evul.

Ugh, this quest sucks as a priest. You can't heal the gorilla and it doesn't have much life. Plus the gorillas spawn like crazy. Better if you have another person.

A-me's path is out the main cave entrance, toward the tar pits, around the left side of the big tree, and back to the owner.

About the only two main places to clear are the entrance of the cave and the tar beasts between the tar pits and the tree. Outside of that, you should be fine. There are no extra enemies that pop out of nowhere on this one like most escort quests.

I did that at lvl 51, with a full party, and was easy tbh, biut beware if you plan on soloing it at that lvl since the gorilas in the enatrance of the cave respawn realy fast and can be a pain.

Also AMY has a tendancy to pull everyone.

SOMETHING IMPORTANT FOR GROUPS.

Be sure to buy a mithril casing FOR EVERYONE, and EVERYONE talk to the gorila ONCE, and then have a member of the group talk to the gorila to start the last part, (escort), you will see that the mitril casing will be "take out" of the inventories of each member, and once the escort is about to begin you will get a note saying that:

"NAME-OF-MEMBER is about to comebce Quest .... Do you want to start is a well?"

It would be good to press "Yes" there btw:)

Just a small commnet to avoid confusing, make sure you all got the casing, we had a lock in the group ( me ) so one of us stoned to IF bought the casings and came back.

A-Me has some interesting chat as well. I'll try to get a screenie of it, if I can do this quest without getting too much aggro. I had a lot of trouble the last time because of the monkeys calling each other- and new ones spawning.

Edit: There aren't any ambushes, and if someone has cleared the normal spawns this quest can go very quickly.

all u get for buying/making the mythril casing and escorting it back home is 1g something?

not worth the time imo.

Soloed as 51 Paladin, easy-peasy:)

Soloed with a 54 holy pally, no potions or anything but self buffs.

Turn on righteous fury, consecrate when A-Me gets aggro so all apes are pounding on you. Blessing of wis, seal of wis-judgement-seal of wis to keep your mana up. Concentrate on keeping aggro and having to heal only yourself. A-Me helps you fight, so that makes it quicker.

Also once you have all the aggro, try to kite groups of gorillas away from the main pack so when they call for help they won't bring adds. Keep working toward your destination and you should limit how many you have to fight at a time.

Soloed as a lvl 53 retri paladin. Just cleared out all the gorillas beforehand, and during the actual escort, I only had to kill about 3 gorillas and 2 tar lurkers. Easy. =P

Plus i got the casing for free off a random person.

Is there a time limit on getting the ape home or does any attack on you automatically fail this quest?

If there is a time limit on it, the questlog or questminion addon hides the time limit

I was 53 when I did this, Had NO problems at all. Bought the Casing for 50S, so it was a good profit.

Very easy quest, just ask in general for help even. You don't have to escort her very far.

Looked all around the "expected area" but ending up finding her inside the dungeon along the right path. Not sure if that's static or random though.

51 mage this is near- impossible
