The Fare of Lar'korwi

Find the carcass of Lar'korwi's freshest kill and steal a Piece of Threshadon Carcass before returning to Torwa Pathfinder in Un'Goro Crater.

Description

Once, a long time ago, a brother of mine took some meat from one of Lar'korwi's kills. He didn't know it at the time, but Lar'korwi saw him from the forest. Lar'korwi followed my brother for days, destroying everything he touched. My brother, scared, finally decided to run from the Crater and leave Lar'korwi behind.

Lar'korwi killed him not far from this spot.

If you want to provoke Lar'korwi, find a fresh kill of his and take some of the meat from it.

Return to me afterwards.

The Fresh Threshadon Corpse can be found at 68, 57, surrounded by hordes of lvl 50-51 raptors. And I do mean HORDES. Getting the item you need requires a 5-second "use" of the corpse, so you need to clear everything neraby out first, or have someone pull everything away. Enjoy. I suggest waiting until you can safely dispose of the raptors, or reroll a hunter.

For non-cosmos users, here is where I found the carcass. Follow the stream north from the Tanaris zone-in. Take the first branch to the right following the main stream. At the next branch, go left. There is a small pond here (the right branch makes a half circle back to the pond). Follow around the pond until you are at the western most tip (it looks a little like a birds beak pointing west). Go directly west from here and you should see the carcass almost immediately. Its about halfway between the next pond over. Hope this helps.

The carcass is located all most due north of the Quest giver. On the map you'll see the river that runs North South with a lake and island in middle. To the west is another lake. The carcass is located between the 2 lakes.

I found the carcass in the same location as depicted here:

The carcass was very easy to spot. It's certainly large enough, and there's hostile Dinosaurs all over that area.

i found the threshadon carcass at 69, 57 and it appears to be a fixed spawn since the body stayed there permanently after i looted it

ok guys, just finished this...the trick is to circle around teh corpse until the gear turns yellow...ITS NOT BUGGED AT ALL, but u will have to move around the carcass in order to get the gear icon to work, i got it around the carcass neck. just clear the area first and you'll be fine.

I have tried everything over the last two days.&nbsp I went to both carcasses - the one in Terror run as well as the one in the Marshlands.&nbsp I circled around them both at least 50 times, killed the mobs around them countless times... Heck, I even crawled on top of the carcasses, scouring every inch with my cursor

I logged off, and logged back on - no cog.

I logged out, deleted my profile in my WTF directory, logged back in.&nbsp Still no cog.

I dropped the quest and got it again multiple times.&nbsp Still no cog!

Bugged out big time.&nbsp I submitted a ticket to Blizzard and they insisted that the quest is fine.&nbsp But it isn't.&nbsp It's seriously bugged.&nbsp I just submitted another trouble ticket.&nbsp I hope I get a response that they've fixed whatever is wrong.

I just completed this quest. Walking up to the fallen beast, 67.58, I stood at the area where the neck meets the front legs and the cog changed to yellow. I don't know about other servers but, Argent Dawns works.

If you're doing this quest you're probably at least 50. Mods are needed at 60, so you might as well get one now.

The carcass can be really hard to collect.&nbsp I've tried clicking everywhere while at the same time trying to defend myself.&nbsp Tough unless you clean the area...since getting the carcass can be tuff to find.

...OK if you want to get the carcass try up by its shoulder! That worked!

I was having trouble with several quests in Un'Goro, including being unable to loot the threshadon carcass. The problem turned out to be that I was in a raid group from playing AV earlier - no other players in the group so I didn't notice. Left group, and voila! Could use the carcass.

The quest is obviously bugged for some and not for others.

On Kargath, today, I accepted the quest, walked to the corpse in the Marshlands (I know it's the one, I've done it 3 times before), and it would not even light up to be selected as an object.&nbsp The "Cog" selection icon did not show up, grey or yellow, at all.&nbsp It looked like I was mousing over the ground.

I dropped the quest, picked it back up, still no luck.&nbsp

Unless Lar'korwi left the crater, crossed the Tanaris desert and got one from the ocean.

I'm guessing there are 2 carcasses. Theres one in terror run that is unlootable. I see theres one in the marshlands and I'm about to head there to look for it. Been all over this stupid crater though and have only seen one carcass. Hope theres another.

Well then. I've found the carcass and thos raptor hanging about it.
And of course I can't loot that "##¤%¤¤%¤ chunk of meat that does not even belong in un'goro, and the raptors won't drop it eighter so, are some of you guys joking about the carcass thing or may it just be the fact that this quest is broken on the Bloodhoof realm(europe). Maybe the admins of the realm thought it was a ornament and nothing more than that. Well. I may just abandon the qest and do something that work

the ravasaurs themselves have a very slim chance to drop the meat once you accept the quest, a .03 percent. The easiest way is to find the threshadon carcass at the coordinates 68, 57
