Description

Sprite darters are omnivores--that means they eat both meat and vegetation. If your egg here's gonna hatch, we best be prepared. Some good eats for these little guys are flanks of meat, raw and juicy, believe it or not. I was never able to find out why, but it has somethin' to do with Elune's plan for the elves... maybe they were to be protectors or somethin', I don't know.

I'll take care of the egg for now, why don't you get me some good Silvermane stalker flanks for 'em to eat when he's hatched.

I completed this at level 49 and got 4200 XP. I also got increases in my reputations with Darnassus and Wildhammer Clan.

Silvermane stalker is the highest level of silvermane encountered in hinterlands. The ones I fought are all lv48. And they can stealth, which is just pain in the butt. If you start out of AP, the alliance town, you'll travel east. Along the way you'll encounter 2 types of silvermane, mangy silvermane (lv40-41) and silvermane something (lv43-44). You will have to continue to the east. The best way to spot a silvermane stalker is simply to walk in the woods, hope to walk in front of one and spot him before he sees you.

The person above was correct - just keep heading east.&nbsp I killed 7 to get the 5 flanks starting around 54, 52 and heading slightly further east with each kill.

If you are with a lock or near one, you might ask for the detect greater invisibility buff.&nbsp I don't know if it helped, but I could see them easily and get them before they noticed me.

The sprite darter is adorable.

Just letting everyone out there know that the drop rate for these things increased. Thinking because of the 2.1 patch that just came out several days ago. Got all my flanks in 15 minutes. Either that or I'm one extremely lucky son of a nub.

Drop rate is alittle low, I guess around 35% and the stalkers are at the eastern coast of the Hinderlands. They are invisible so Catseye Goggles or some sort of stealth detection is handy.

i killed maybe 8 and got all... i had a good drop rating.. my luck :D

i just did what the man aboven said.. go to 54.52 and just go east and you will find enough

was done in ten minutes. 73;56 area had tons. i had two-three on my VoidWalker at one time till quest was completed. may have been a fluke but worked for me.

Seems like the best drops were on the eastern-side of the Hinterlands, near the Overlook Cliffs. The Stalkers there dropped the meat nearly 100% of the time. While the other stalkers more inland (yes they were Silvermane Stalkers) didn't drop any at all.

In the hinterlands the Stalkers are along the mountains near the coast. They are stealthed and near lvl 47-49. They walk along 77,48 to 69,61.

Hi just to let you know where to start looking for these things.. in the Hinterlands go to 54,53 and work your way up the side from there.. these above comments didn't help me much to find them... east is very broad when your looking a map
