Collect a sample of corrupted water from the Jadefire Satyrs' moonwell and bring it to Winna Hazzard at Bloodvenom Post.

Description

Some may say that I am exceptionally cruel... But truly, it is only a strong desire to see the Horde gain an advantage against the Alliance, in any way possible.

My newest interest is a moonwell at the Ruins of Constellas, south of here, tended by the Jadefire satyrs. The moonwell, once a symbol of renewal for the insufferable night elves, is now corrupted, and used to bring forth more satyrs.

I have an idea, <name>, and I'd like a sample of the water... for my little feline friend here.

The corrupted moonwell is at (32,66) Felwood, surrounded by level 50-52 Jadefire satyrs and a named boss, Xavathras (54).

Also note, to get here, you need to come from the south, not the north. If you're coming from Bloodvenom post, you want to get off the road somewhere aroun 42,66. Coming from the north will only get you lost in the mountains surrounded by angry orcs.

FORGET ALL THAT Shi...!above and listen start at Fp marster in felwood take the road SOUTH and go to41- 68 and enter there then go to
36- 67you will see a small path there you will find some mobs called jadefire. they are the guards of the well its only, lvl 51 - 52and there is a "boss" lvl 54No Big deal........

You can reach the ruins from the road, by a large pool. The area is south Jaedenar and north of Jadefire Glen. Once you pass the pool with the ooze monsters, continue to head west and take a path area that will lead you the Satyr. Follow it, and you'll make it to the Well of Corruption.
I'm a 52 warlock maxed out in Afflication Talents and this wasn't too hard.
Cast an invisibilty detection spell. Use the Voidwalker for a nice tank, and if you must run use his Sacrifice skill. Soulfire works nicely for add destruction and Dark Pact is great for mana regeneration. Though, I wouldn't recommend the use of Fear.
Soul Shards are key here for Soul Stones and Healthstones.
Anyway, it's a good place to rack up quick exp. On double I received 570-610 per kill. You just have to move fast before they spawn on top of you.

Most of the comments posted on this page are about the wrong quest.The well you want the sample is NOT in Jaedenar.That well is for the quest "Collection of the Corrupt Water".The well for this quest,"Well Of Corruption",is in THE RUINS OF CONSTELLAS.Just follow the path all the way to the back and you will see it.So people please make sure that the quest you are commenting on is the right one and quit comfussing the hell out of people.

Remember! The corrupted well is PLACED at 32,66, but the ENTRANCE is at 36,67. I ran around searching for the stupid well at 36,67..

when people imply you can do this easily as a rogue what they mean 2 say is... you have to actually have atleast 5 points into master of deception if you don't going stealth will not break agro range on enemies your own level. thank god i'm a subiety/combat 55 Troll Rogue BDF

The quest is working properly and it is easy,
soloed it as a lvl 53 hunter the other day.
Just rush in with mount and feign death -> go to the corrupted moonwell and fill the flask.

Moonwell is located at the Ruins of Constellas not in Jadefire Glen.

The corrupted cat disappeared on me as well, but that was probably because there was another person beginning that very quest. Mine disappeared and his went into the cage. *quite upsetting*
I had to abandon the quest (had no cage, there was a grayed out ? above Winna, and no way of completing the quest) and do it all over again. Good thing it isn't a hard quest to do.
*go to the Jaedenar moonwell (32,66)
*open the cage
*run back to Winna in Bloodvenom Post
*click the cat to chat and release it back to Winna

Has any Tauren ever noticed that your hearing sense for certain things seems to be far more acute when you are transformed into Ghost Wolf? For example, go right up to the bank of a stream or body of water. Listen to the rippling of the water and then turn into Ghost Wolf. You'll see what I mean...

Coords ARE SPOT ON !

How you get there is totally wrong.

Head South down feralas path from Bloodvenom Falls, GO PAST Jaedenar, Then Turn right/west . Should then say "The ruins of constellas"

Keep heading west through all the Satyyrs and the Well in on the border of Ferlas/Darkshore. Hard to find, But then thats all the bad directions.

Make sure you are in the Ruins of Constellas area as there is another group of Satyrs further south of the ruins and the two are easily confused.

I did this quest on my rogue and found it to be very easy. Simply stealth in, fill your vial, and stealth out before they even realize what happened.

Very easy to solo on my 52 Warlock. I suggest enslaving one of the Felsworn or Rogue Satyrs. Pop Curse of Shadows on your target, and Shadowbolt each satyr to death with your new pet.
I mounted up and ran out after killing Xanathras and filling my flask... Not too great of an idea, survived with about 100hp. Thank god for those Un'goro renew crystals. :P

I just did this on my 50 lock. The directions were great - if you look on the map, the moonwell is actually in the mountains, around 32, 66. You have to go through the ruins, including the satyr camp. The reason I'd advise not running through is because the path to the well is littered with stealthed Shadowstalkers - if you get enough on you, you'll get dismounted and you'll have to fight a lot more than if you pulled on your own.

Worked my way to the well, killed a couple of them on the right, filled vial, then killed Xanathras (didn't drop anything good) and went back. Aggroed a bit on the way back (stealthed ones), but Banish is your best friend in this situation.

Another reason to kill the satyrs is because they drop good stuff - got a couple of auctionable greens, mageweave, runecloth, and felcloth. Kept a piece for the Impsy lock quest and used 2 pieces to make mooncloth.

If you are going South from Jaedaner, then it just past it on you right...you will see the Satyr there...follow the path all the way to the back...

OOF!

I made the mistake of just trying to run in and complete this quest without killing the monsters.

Took every frost nova, Ice Shield, Mana shield and Ice Block I had to survive that. I suggest killing a little to clear the way rather than running straight in.

I did manage to Fill the Flask and escape with 20 hp though :D

I found the well but how do I get the filled flasket. I also didn't got any item from the questgiver.
