Border Crossings

Retrieve the contents of one of the Dalaran wizards' crates. You will find Pyrewood Village to the south.

Description

As you may know, the town of Ambermill remains a source of human opposition, mainly through the support they receive from the wizards of Dalaran.

I don't know what their plan is, but for them to show interest in a backwater village like Ambermill indicates that it must have some greater importance.

They've been shipping crates by the wagon from Hillsbrad. Many of those supplies end up at a small camp north of Pyrewood Village. Retrieve the contents of a crate and return them to me.

Yes as the map says 49, 60 is the place. Its a small encampment of dalaran mages who have frost spells so be prepared for multiple pulls if your doing this at lower levels.

Border crossing
If you are looking after pyrewood village, don't.&nbsp Just go to when a sign say Ambermill, then go back few feet and if you are facing north/Undercity, then is to west in to the forest you can see the tent and there is it.&nbsp With the tent outside the crate is there.

Before I got this at all, I was walking around, I also try to get in to Ambermill and Hillsbrad and that you must not do (of course you can do it, but if you are at my lvl you will die, I died 12 times before I found out I was in wrong area), if so you are doing the wrong.&nbsp And plz look very careful at the map, it saying all, where it is.

One clue You are on the road and speeding to Ambermill, then you can be attacked from east when you got your back to north/Undercity (I was lvl 17 and I got attacked if you are not careful).&nbsp In the forest where attacker come from and you can see the tent from the road.

The crate is in the camp described, at location 50,60 (back of camp/tents), and is surrounded by lvl 13 humans.

Super easy with lvl 15 Priest (solo).&nbsp Just head south down the road and look right a bit before the village, you'll see some humans and a couple tents in an open field.&nbsp Not hard to spot.

If you can follow the series of canyons that run behind the sepulcher it actually takes you to the backdoor of the camp, much easier to do. Only three mages to deal with then.

soloed as a lvl 13 mage, pretty easy i thought.

went in from the front, hooked a right around the camp to come at the back, kill 2 mages, got the crate and i'm out.

just stayed far enough back that the only thing in range was fireballs, only aggroed one at a time that way.

I made it with a level 14 rogue, but I came around the back side where the mountains are so that I was overlooking the tent that had the crate. I only had to take out 2 mages, then ran in and completed the quest and used my sprint skill to high tail it out of there as the other 3 mages near that tent started shooting at me. Piece of cake.

Crate is at 49,60 in Silverpine Forest, as stated above. It is surrounded by 4 mages: they're not linked each other, but you'll probably end aggroing all of them, since they run on low health.
Regardless what said by other posters, this quest can be soloed by a rogue. First, kill the two mages near the mountain to get a clear space. Then, sap the mage under the gazebo (the closest to the crate) and kill the mage closer to the mountain: kick him and kite him away from the other 2 guys, so you don't have to worry about him running at low health.
Done? Nice. Now sap the mage near the chariot and kill the mage by the crate in the same manner (kick-kite). At this point, kill the other two mages by sapping any one (i suggest the one by the chariot, so you can kite to the mountain the last one).
It's a bit tricky, but works. If you're worried about respawning, just don't loot any corpse until you're done with the quests: this will grant you some more time.

I got rocked at 16 Rogue the first time I tried this, went in way to fast thinking I could take them. Came back a second time and pulled em one at a time worked&nbsp very well.

well i did it as a 12 mage...Mostly just sheeped the guy guarding the box and then when i aggroed 2 i ran towards the mountain found a pocket and waited for them to lose aggro...

Couldn't have been easier, don't think I got hit once. They're easy to fight one at a time so for a priest I just shielded up, dot then Smite/Mind Blast until dead, rinse & repeat.

Its pretty easy to find, Its south of Olsen's farthing, just follow the mountains to the left side of the road. There is a tent there, and behind that there is a tarp on some poles, under the tarp on poles is the crate.

Crate is in a little camp just north of the road leading to amber mill. There is a bunch of Dalaran's on the west side of the road. Crate is under a tent.

I think I may be screwed here... I got to the crate, opened it, completed the quest, and just as i was about to accept the new one, got dead. Now I can't open the crate anymore, the quest doesn't show up, and when I went back to the shadow priest, he doesn't offer it as an option. Any one who can help me here?

Level 17 Warrior.. Went solo.

I died 2 times, then realized you should just go behind the camp.. you only have 2 kill two apprentices then.. and you can creep up to the boxes.&nbsp :) It's not that difficult guys.
