Description

The Council of the Forest has news that you aided Zenn Foulhoof. The satyr is an enemy of the forest. As a <race>, you should know better than to defile the forest by killing Nature's creatures.

You must redeem yourself in the eyes of the Council if you wish to remain a friend of Teldrassil.

Teach Foulhoof a lesson and you shall be redeemed. Fel Cones are corrupted seeds that fall from the trees. They billow with green smoke.

Give some to Foulhoof. He'll think you have brought him a harmless snack.

I had trouble finding them at first. I found one and waited there, but it didnt respawn. Then I found one at 59,56 that did respawn really quick.&nbsp For those w/out coords its on the opposite side of the tree thats by the guy.

So I think that if the one you find doesn't respawn in 1 min, you should find another. Hope this helps.

You can find the Fel Cones around Zenn Foulhoof or even further around Starbreeze Village. Try to look around the bases of very large trees. Some coordinates to try are 58, 55 and 59, 56.

The Fel Cone is exactly at 59,56. It respawns within 20-30sec. And yes, when taking it to Zenn, he turns into a "ribbit". But the quest is done then.

They are very hard to identity, but they are pretty easy to find. A few locations:
62, 66 - in the back
59, 61
59, 62
56, 66 - on the east side

I highly (HIGHLY) recommend doing this along with the timberling quests (Timberling Seeds and Timberling Sprouts). You will already be in this general area.

Those cord's are the best for the quest, I found 2 there instantly, then I went and killed something, came back, quest done :D.

A few minutes ago, did this with my new NE/Priestess on Bloodhoof... She is Level 7...

The quest was yellow to her (L7), and received 1sp 75c and 625XP as her reward, as well as a nice little boost to the Darnassus reputation.

I will tell you exactly what i did!
I found one near Dolanaar, i run away and after 5-6 secs there was one more ion the same spot.I did the same again and worked!
So i gather the three in about 20 secs.

okay, walk up to this dude from the trail. exactly to his left is a huge tree, and if you walk around it is this 'fel cone' that it's not easy to notice that it's glowing green smoke or anythhing, but is at exactly 59'56 or pretty much just on the opposite side of the tree, and if you just run around the side of the tree it respawns justlike that... its quick and easy!

Fel Cones are sometimes very easy and sometimes very hard for players to notice. They are actually fairly plentiful, and every large tree usually has one or two beneath it somewhere. They look like small mounds with green smoke coming out the top. They are small and easily blend in with the background if you aren't careful about looking for them.

But rest assured, they are basically everywhere in Teldrassil. If you haven't found your's, it's simply a matter of looking a little more carefully. The tree right next to Zenn has one around the opposite side, to get started. (Assuming nobody else grabbed it in the last couple minutes.)

went to the 58,55 coord and circled the tree then i saw a big pine cone with green gas coming from it, not directly next to the tree but like a foot from it.

the respawn rate is truly VERY fast. turned away, killed a spider, there it was again. turned away, killed an owl, therer it was...complete.

They are on the Eastern side of Dolanaar. There are usually around 3. I found mine at 59,61 and 59, 62 and they respawn almost instantly.

Try killing a few NightSabres in the area of the quest giver, they appear to eat them and as a result drop them when you kill them. I found the drop rate to be very high ( about 90% ).

The fel-cones look like pinecones, they spawn near trees, i found them at (59,62) and (59,61).

Dont be fooled by the green smoke it says it emits from the cones. its not obvious at all. theres one directly on the opposite side of the tree the guy is on. also once u get that one run to the next tree straight ahead and kill a mob. once u've done that the first one u got should have respawned.

550 reputation w/ darnassus is lovely. I am a human that came here for rep. took me about 10 mins to do this quest, i just encircled all the trees near zenn and i looked for the green smoking cones. its really an easy quest, good luck=)

Fel Cone's are all around the trees. You can easily complete this quest by going to Zenn and checking the base of the trees in the area. Now that quest items on the ground sparkle, this is not hard. But this isn't remotely hard to begin with :)

This is one of the most easy quests I have ever done. I found them at:

1. 56,65
2. 56,64
3. 54,61

took me about two minutes. Return the quest to Zenn Foulhoof at 60,56.
You will get 1s 75c, 650 XP and 200 reputation with Darnassus, pretty nice, huh! :D
