Travel to Blackrock Spire and slay Warchief Rend Blackhand. Take his head and return to Orgrimmar.

Description

Rend dares make such grand claims because of the protection he is afforded by the black flight.

You, <name>, will find a way to pass through the Halls of Ascension. You will then find 'Warchief' Rend Blackhand and you will destroy him - FOR THE HORDE!

<Thrall slams a fist down upon his throne.>

The next time you return to my chambers, you will hold his head high in triumph and then you shall present it to your Warchief. Do this and be honored as a hero of the Horde.

When you turn in this quest, most of the time, everyone in Orgrimmar will get the Warchief's Blessing buff, but if someone else has turned it in any time in the last hour, it will do nothing. This is what happened to me. The way to tell is to check the NPCs around Org and if they have that orange circle buff, don't turn it in yet. When it goes away, you can safely turn it in and get everyone the buff again for another hour.

The quest is given from thrall, however - first you have to take a quest where u talk to "eitriig" or something like that...he's standing in the same room as thrall.&nbsp once u talk to him, go back to thrall and he'll give the Quest.&nbsp took me a week to figure that out )

Warchief's Blessing is the nice lil buff everyone in orgrimmar recieves upon turnin in the quest of rend's head.

I just did LBRS w/ 4 rogues and one druid- it was MUCH quicker and easier. Just run in, kill the bosses, grab the info, and hearth out. It really saves time to just grab 4 stealthers and go in there and stealth it. I found that it was kinda tricky to get past the last group of spiders w/ out Master of Deception, but its possible.

70 feral druid can solo this quest&nbsp Warlord's Command stealth to the bosses some clearing helped but did it a couple days ago.the bosses are set up up a little harder to kill for being 59 and 60 elite, i did die a couple times but it can be done.

ohhhhhhhhh! arugh!

dang!

I am so so tempted by Blackhand's Breadth because 2% crit is awesome for enhansement shammy which is what I do for most of my personal free time.

However, I am in a raiding guild, and in that raiding guild all I do is cast spells, and there the crit to melee would be useless to me, whereas the 2% spell crit is VERY nice. I even use spells while soloing, so this is something I would use all the time.

about 20 agi = 1% crit
about 100 int = 1% spell crit

so you do the math and figure out which one would be more impossible to replace.

I choose Eye of the Beast.

Yes, 4 rogues and 1 druid can easily do Warlord's Command.&nbsp Did it last night on Illidan.&nbsp To be honest, I didn't have to heal much, because we killed the bosses before they could do much damamge.&nbsp We only wiped once, and that was after we sidetracked to kill Halycon.&nbsp Our group wasn't equipped to take on Slavener.&nbsp We had two 57 rogues, two 60 rogues, and myself, a 60 druid.

Just a FYI, I done both horde and alliance side for the Onyx key quests.

Horde side is much much much harder, alliance just need to visit BRD few time and UBRS only one time.

This quest really isn't that hard if you've got the right raid. That and if you have one of the Chromatic armor quests, you can grab scales and maybe a Carapace in the process. End reward not only gives you a trinket, but Thrall yells over Orgrimmar and you all get Warchief's Blessing uber-buff. =D

I'm taking the tank trinket myself(warrior). I am a 2h fury war, but id much rathter have rune of the guard captain instead, i have a huge problem with my hamstrings/executes/crap missing in BGs, and much rather prefer chance to hit over crit. either way, and even if i stacked this with that, id just ditch it for Maelstrom trinket, so no reason to get this crit trinket at all.

The tank trinket, however, is 1 of the 2 best tank trinkets you can get pre ZG/onxyia/mc+. Stack it with DM book reward trinket and you are solid. Theres an enchanter tank trinket, which im an enchanter, but this has higher armor+dodge

This is kind of sad. All but one of my raids on UBRS have killed Rend. Its an easy quest with good rewards. Way, way, way easier than having to do all of LBRS in my opinion.

A feral druid with pre-raiding gear (best stuff from normal mode dungeons + one or two nice reputation/AH epix) can solo warlords command and seal of ascension. Hardest part is to kill wyrmtalak, focus on ogre and troll add when they arrive, they are not immune to bash.

Blackhand's breath is probably the best trinket available outside ZG/AQ20/MC etc. +2 % chance to crit is amazing for a blue trinket. Rogues / DPS warriors and hunters should really go comeplete the Onyxia attunement quest to get this.

Not sure what the cap is, but lvl 70s are not able to gain the Warchief's Blessing from this quest. Just turned it in today and none of the 70s in org got the buff. :(
