Description

Ah, nothing like the smell of fresh blood in the foothills!

Now we'll mix in a touch of this and a little of that and let the real fun begin! What I have created with this blood, I like to call an Elixir of Pain. If my calculations are correct this concoction could be the start of something very beautiful for Lady Sylvanas. But what we need is a test.

Take this elixir out to the northern farm in Hillsbrad Fields to the southwest. Let's see how Farmer Ray's little dog Stanley likes this "treat."

Stanley is a little dog in the back left of Hillsbrad Fields, head to the back left and you should see the yellow dot for where he is. When you turn in the quest he turns into a level 24 monster, make sure to kill him as he gives 700 exp or so when killed.

He a meeean pooch.&nbsp Gives it to him and runs or fight him.&nbsp Just watch out for farmers and footmen around you.&nbsp Got my arse handed to me on a platter by stan, footman and a farmer.&nbsp I like three-ways but not THAT much.

Doing this quest while rested is a very good idea. I got 2000+ xp from killing the dog at level 25, 1000 or so of that from rested XP. Not to mention the 1500 XP from doing the quest itself.

Give it to the dog, and you get a little bit of xp, and then it turns into a worg looking mob.&nbsp Kill that and you get like 2-3k xp.&nbsp Nice set of quests.

Don't run away after you gave the elixir to standley , the dog , if you kill him , u get around 900-1100xp just for him + the quest exp. Means around 2500xp.

Wait by the dog and he will turn aggressive for extra experience shortly after given the potion.

When you first come by the dog you cna see the quest gold marking above it.

He is by the northern most house in the area to the left of the barn.

solo with lvl21 rogue...giz that was easy.All u have to do is head a bit south and then west from taren mill.Go at the northern farm and a yellow dot will apear at minipam:) little stantley:) give him elixir. 1200exp is yours.now u have to act fast. ambush the cow critter stealth again and get behind ''little'' stantley. ambush+gouge+backstab+sinister+eviscerate+gouge(now run away and use a bandage) sinister sinister...eviscarate. mission complite!+3000exp for ya
if u want u can use evasion or a pot but its not nessecary

killing the wolflike mob that stanley turns into after you give him the potion also gives you ~1000 xp

I went around the Hillsbrad Feilds and then went to Stanely...didn't aggro not 1 Farmer..suggest u do that, alot easier

Soloed with level 26 rogue, stay there back up and kill the dog, pat goes left wait for that, then feed dog back up kill dog I got 1002 xp for killing a mob same xp as I, and wasn't even rested

Stanley (the dog) is located at (32,35)

Once u feed him the elixir you can wait and hell grow and turn black, and become hositle... hes a lvl 24

I got 682 exp for killing him (in addition to 1150 for the quest) I was level 30. If you can definataly kill him.

If you remember where Farmer Ray was in the house, there was a little dog named Stanley there, that is where you gotta take the Elixir and have him drink some of it and make sure to kill him because you will get a lot of EXP for killing him. If you dont know where he is or Farmer Ray, they are in the back left corner of Hillsbrad Fields.
